Ahh crap FFS lol
I forgot I rage quit round 2. Couldn't understand why my Round 2 scores are not showing on the site. Loaded up the game and it says I'm on the 14'th hole still (sh%$...don't remember how bad of a mess I was in, just remember taking the video)
Now I have to finish round 2 to get to rest of the rounds...I really don't want to lol
Oh, the "social" tab in the game is full of people praising the r2 setup. lol

Oh yeah. Now I remember why I quit playing at 14 in R2 Finished up R3 and 4 on a strong note but no where near the -50's at the top of the PC leader board. edit R2 GIR 33.3 % lol

My birdie on hole 6 of round 2 will probably end up as my greatest accomplishment of this season. It's going to be all downhill from that.

Definitely a challenging course due to the conditions on rounds one and two. I was able to scramble and round up lots of birdies in rounds three and four and end up 21st as of now. As long as I'm top 5 on pc I'm happy!

It could be because I didn't get burned too bad by round 2, but I actually kind of enjoyed this week as it felt different. Just kind of holding on for dear life through two rounds trying to limit the damage as much as possible and then two rounds where you could go all out and try to recover the ground it felt like you'd lost. Once again, they're not conditions I'd want to see on a regular basis but it is nice to see something totally different and challenging every now and then.

Congrats to Chris who looks like he will hold on for the win. Obvious success-sauce this week was to limit bogies which I couldn't manage to do, even with the easier conditions in later rounds. I don't know how many bogies+ I've had this year, but 7 in this tournament is never going to get it done. Props to those that kept a clean card.
Setup was an admitted mistake but everyone had to play the same conditions. I got a little frustrated with watching my ball trickle off the green so many times. It is what it is though.

I was quite impressed that I limited myself to just three single bogies for the week, all on round 2. I threw myself out of any chance of a top 10 when I played round 3 to basically the same score I got in each of round 1 and 2. I spent that whole round wondering why the easier conditions were refusing to show themselves in my score.

Congratulations to Chris on the win and Well played the others.
All the troubles that 6'th hole gave everyone I'm glad to say I parred it 3 times and birdied the last time. So I survived the "Great 6'th Hell Hole of '19" lol...paid for it with two triple bogies on the 14'th though.
Also
Sad to say I'm breaking up with you guys. It's not you, it's me.
I love the BGCT Tour and the members. Love how it's just plain fun to go out and play and not deal with the tempo issues of master clubs. And major thanks to the Admins for creating the BGCT Tour and giving us a place to play and have unpressured fun.
But it's just not doing it for me. I can't stand beginner club's distances. I tried to get into it but just can't. Feels like every hole is a grind. Few opportunities to go for a green in 2 on a par 5 and drive able par 4's are rare. I love the fun and risk of trying those type of shots.
Played my Qschool rounds this morning. Master clubs. Going to wind up in CCE or Z but no matter I don't care. Had a tough time on a tough course. From this moment on will just play Pro clubs. I will never play master clubs again. Wish I could delete them from the game lol.
So to everyone sticking around. It's been a pleasure, best of luck in your tournaments. Will most likely bump into some of you in the other forums from time to time.

being scoffed at with a mere mention of my rookie course being "tour worthy", but courses like this are tour worthy lol. i love logic.
loved the completely flat(literally no break) greens, even on very fast, 0 break. then the next hole is basically unplayable with yellow slopes on 60% of the green, including the pin.
and the whole "didnt see it on my playthrough" excuse is so weak. well whats the point of having this system then? if the people responsible for the schedule cant even play through enough times to catch game breaking, and round ruining issues on the course? oh i know, i know, you do "so much on the back end" to make this possible, well, looks like you need to do more?

Sigh I already explained it.... I goofed on the conditions... I meant to use something moderate and selected the wrong thing and didn’t notice. It was pointed out to me by the rangers... it’s my fault... and it was an accident

It was an honest mistake Dan, it's done and over with at this point. Certainly not what you had intended for that pin position for sure. But anyone with half an understanding of how things work will understand that, I wouldn't listen to the trolls.

Everyone should just be glad I’m only a ranger instead of a scheduler. The amount of spite I’d put into my future course selection once people complain would be insane. Even more so if somebody who does nothing positive to help the community dared to tell me I wasn’t volunteering well enough. But alas, I just play the courses. I don’t pick them.

I'm starting to get a complex here. Been in BGCT only for a short period of time and 2 of the 3 threads I've participated in have devolved. If I wanted all this drama I would hook my PS4 back up and flick my way to PGA...
