Glad that's over. It's a nice enough course that I'd normally have tolerated better, but it just had bad timing following last week. High winds in round 4 did not help again and I think I gave back the 3 shouldn't have mades in round 3 with three should've mades in round 4. Never got anything going and finished with a very blah but happy to be out of here -5.

Looks like I could be having one of my best tournaments as I’m currently in 3rd place (at the time of posting) and was looking forward to playing my last two rounds tomorrow evening and then this morning I lost my internet & my phone line connection at home and an engineer won’t be available for 3-5 working days to fix it. So gonna be touch & go as to whether or not I get to finish the event…..damn those golfing gods! Well played sir. Usually I don't glance at the scoreboard during the round, but I saw a glimpse of it at one point in Round 1 and you were something like 9 under after 8 holes! Hope you get your connection issues resolved. See if your neighbor will let you hunker down for a few hours on their connection!

Cheers John, I couldn’t believe what was happening on those first eight holes with two eagles and a number of virtually straight single putts elsewhere then a mixed bag on the back nine and a nice solid second round to back it up despite making a couple of bogies. Looks like an engineer will be coming later today to fix my internet and phone problem and I should be back on track for my Thursday evening rounds and I won’t have to use my computer at work to make these posts. It’s a shame it’s being dealt with so quickly as I was going to ask if you could sign into my account and play my last two rounds for me…..hahaha.

What is the Eastern time cut off for rounds to be complete on Saturday? Only mid way thru my second round and might have to defer until the weekend...
TIA!

Thanks for the info! I'll make sure I finish them Friday night. I apologize if I caused any confusion, just to be more precise, I should've said approximately 2am on Sunday morning. So, your question was about Saturday, and what I meant was you still have all of Saturday EST and then into 2am Sunday EST to make it happen. Sorry if I didn't say that correctly. I live on the East coast of the US, so I always just used midnight in my mind as my unofficial cutoff, that way I always knew that I had done them by the time Saturday ended.

It was great to have my internet connection back but the 3rd round was a complete disaster, it was like I had forgotten how to play the game. I couldn’t get near the flags and lost the ability to read the greens. My worst round for a long time and now I’ve gone from a potential top 5 to clinging onto a top 15 place….bloody annoying!
The only way I could calm down was to watch the gorgeous Gina Carano kicking ass in “The Mandalorian”….Again!

Thanks for the clarification VctryLN. No worries as I'm confident I'll get my rounds in now. But great info to know for the future!
Round two was better at -5 but couldve been better without the two bogeys. Round three underway and im hoping things continue to improve.
Gotta get MO back on my side!

Great score troywatts! You are well clear of the field this week. Looks like one player still out there that could make a run, but looking good so far. That last round was really impressive given your finish.

That last round was really impressive given your finish. thx yaters! it's unreal how sour a couple bogies can make you--however, i'll try to think of it as walking down the fairway at 18 taking in the crowd and atmosphere and admittedly losing some focus

Doesn't look like much will change on the leader board so Congratulations Troy on the win.
And Congrats to the other top players Jeff, John Dean and Eric (I'm tagging challenged)
Also would like to congratulate Dryer lint on the victory as well.
Had a few rounds practice getting used to the game again and beginner clubs. Eager to start the next tournament to see if I totally fold or can keep it together.

Wasn’t aware that you had to play the same course as AM, do you also have to use the same tee set ? I’m designing a course and thought I’d aim it at the BCT, however that’s obviously not possible, but if I can set a tee for Pro clubs and a tee for Beg clubs along with hazards to suit, then IF it’s good enough at least it’ll suit you
