I'm downloading my rounds now so that fadgewacker and his gang of yentas can get the lube and kleenex out and all gather in a circle and jerk it. 😂 Yes! I'm in a gang! In order to be in a gang, you need to master flicking a switch blade. Might need James’ help on that.

A meh -8. Hit some good shots and didn't get rewarded and hit at least two really bad shots, both should have ended up in the water except for a slow downswing gave it enough distance to JUST clear the water. Made birdie on both those, so it evened out. Easily could have been three or four shots better or worse.
Not a bad course.

A suggestion to the TGCTour Website Team - would it be possible to get a column to designate flicker, full, other on the leaderboard - similar to the country flag or console?
Would be great to collate the boards given the predicament of the current game.
You'd have to upload videos of an actual tour round, preferably one that you score well on (not like some loser would fake their swing to fool anyone, right??).
Might be a precursor to starting a flicker flight... yea?

Yeah I'm sure the fine folks have TGCTours have nothing else better to do than to wade through hours of video of people playing their round where you can see their controller and their TV, with their actual game, just to show they aren't flicking. Is this where we are at, that every person who wants to play on tour has to do a self video to show how they play, what they play with, their settings, their swing styles, ect? How often do these videos then need to be posted? Do we all do them or are they just arbitrarily decided on who is suspected to use a flick swing? Should we further segregate those people into half flickers and 3/4 flickers? Perhaps we should just vote on every person who wins on whether there is enough evidence on whether they flick or not and if so, just put an * beside their name? Oh and if you don't think you are a flicker but the majority has spoken, welp you are guilty and must prove it by video proof! Admit that you are a flicker? Ooh lets turn your name pink and use Sans Comic font to identify you to everyone else so that everyone can know that despite not breaking any direct rule, you are need to have a spotlight shone on you!!!
Seriously guys, let it go. Don't like it? Don't play. The admin already put so much work into this site that they shouldn't have to deal with this type of stuff.

Ron, rather than argue with how clueless you are, I will rather just volunteer to review videos. I think the folks that play a certain way just want an even playing field to increase their enjoyment factor. No different than the BCT or TST flights. If the admin crew would entertain the idea, I'm sure we could get enough volunteers. Isn't that the whole mission of TGC Tours? Find a place for everyone? Enlighten me.

Ron, it is VERY clear to see who is gaming this "game" when you see their swing line. End of story. There's a reason most of them stay in the dark. Video CLEARLY shows it. Edit: Missed cut for me!

Ahhh its about time the pga thread got back on track. Kinda sad when the bct thread is more entertaining. But anyway, don't let me get in the way of the action, I'm just an observer!
-18 at the cut for me, seems to be about where the mediums are landing. I only remember one offensive pin so the course gets an A+ from me but my play gets an F-. Good luck and may you all miss left

Lots of good ideas in here. 😉 We’re talking about players who’ve been pulled multiple times BECAUSE of flicking. Each week a game of chance whether their hash mark lasers bring a top 5 or a DQ. Sure, there’s gray area and enforcement of a flicking ban virtually impossible, but nobody’s arguing whether it’s a tangible advantage. Using the springs of the stick for accuracy is not talent, and yes, every inch matters. Especially over an entire season. Myself and I believe many others would be in favor any increases in mandatory transparency. Most of us, through this community, do it already. Competing without seeing someone play is not very different from playing the in-game career mode.

Had an interesting round one. A few eagles..a couple bogies. All over the place lol. But i did end up at -12 which I think is a solid start. Need a bounce back after last week. Gotta try to impress our president's cup Captain! Good luck to everyone this week. Looking for some good weeks from my XB1 guys!

Being pulled for API violations is one thing. There are rules in play for them. Believe me I have followed these thread for many, many, many threads now and it is always the same. The admin have no way of actually differentiating one swing from another using their data. They can't tell the difference between someone who uses a flick shot vs another unless they see a video of the 1/2 - 3/4 line shot on the swing.
Bottom line, it has been rehashed 17 ways to Sunday and as a person who himself was under scrutiny for 3+ years just for being a mouse user with, who has the opportunity to change my swing in any number of ways, I and others were immediately thrown under the bus having to defend ourselves. During my 6 years here I have had 0 pulls and yet still get crap for the fact I have the 'potential' to change settings. Frankly I'm tired of the witch hunts and whining.
YOu all have made your points. The admin have spoken and have changed the rules about API pulls so where those who get pulled a set number of time, forfeit their chance to play in majors, WGT and other events. Considering all the stuff that has been written on this subject and considering how I don't think much else will change until the next iteration of TGC, sometimes it is just better to cut your losses. Now a days anyone who fails an API is almost automatically put into a flicker category and that is sad cause it can be so many other things. You want to waste your time on it, great. Your prerogative.
My suggestion is that the admin are too busy and have better things to do than to go through a tedious amount of new rules and a tonne of videos.

I just hope to make the cut. *shrug*
Where is the "dark net" lists of these people, anyways? I need an enigma machine to decipher a decent amount of posts here on PGA threads anymore.
