Took the SW out the bag and added a 4 iron for round 2, felt there were a couple of approaches and Par 3's that may fall in the gap between 3 and 5.
Couldn't hole a putt early doors, so standing on the 7th tee i was -1 (birdied the Par 5) and a bit concerned. 5 birds over the next 6 holes and an eagle on the Par 5 12th, very pleased at this point, a real test of patience which i'm normally terrible at. finished par/bogey/birdie which was annoying because i got a bad bounce and then a slow downswing. But the 4 iron came out on the 18th (i bet there have been some tears on that green this week) to leave a 12 ft birdie put and a 62 for -8.
Will be here for the weekend, going to try for top 20. Enjoying having 3 par 5's on the back 9, you know there's still an opportunity to pick up some shots.
Happy swinging

I'm in the hut. Couldn't get going in the last round in what seemed like easier conditions. But to be fair it doesn't matter, same result for finishing 2nd as 65th - red mark cleared. Great week Thought the course was set up perfectly. Some tricky drives if you were going for distance but that little ribbon of light rough if you only just missed. Good use of elevation and fair greens with some difficult spots. And it looked like a proper local course. Loved all 4 rounds even though the last one didn't quite go according to plan! 59, 63, 63, 67 for -28. Good luck all still to play, see you next week 👍

Currently at T31, I couldn't resist playing my last round. Was on fire and birdied the first 5 holes and was at -6 after 9, including another bogey on the ninth, just as in my second round. Added another 5 birdies on my way in, including one on the difficult 17th, to finish my round at -11. So I'm at a very satisfying -33 for the event, which currently puts me on the top spot on PC. Now, the only drawback is that this reminds me that I need to review the looks of my avatar. After I failed to make it look like a copy of myself, I decided to make up a fictional pixel golfer that does not have the looks of a model. But now, with all the wrinkles and moles, it looks like a clichee villain. Maybe other PC players can give me a hint.

Had 2 green promo marks at the start of this month. On Sunday, I'll have zero.
I think I'll just do a slow walk of shame to the TGC bar and drown my sorrows. No one get near me...my awful play may be an airborne virus that you could catch.

Couldn’t get anything going on the last two rounds. Don’t dwell on it, we move on
Goal for the season - get one top ten finish

Thanks again Dan hmammoth for featuring my course, I hope you all enjoyed it. It's always very interesting to see how the course played and if the holes held up as you intended. The stats are pretty cool to look at...always a surprise or two. First, the fact that 18 played the toughest is a surprise, I thought 13 was the toughest of the 3's, which comes in next. And little ol' 9 played tough too, initially I thought this hole was too easy, so I lengthened it a little, guess it worked. I thought 17 would be toughest par 4, which was next up. Really happy to see the results on the par 5's. 15 had the most eagles and the most "doubles or worse" and 12 was right behind in doubles/worse...I was hoping the risk/reward would come through. I was a little worried about 15, but it seems to have worked out. Congratulations Victor and thanks again all for playing John Adams Muni!!! Gary
