Tricky little course this week. Not very long (though couldn't reach the par 5's in 2). The greens you need to pay attention to or you'll be in some trouble. If I remember correctly, 144, 174, 163, 163 for speeds over the 4 rounds.
Wind was also moderate to high at times throughout the 4 rounds. I tend to struggle with the 45 degree angle winds - not exactly sure how much it will pull/push the ball.
I think the player who putts really well will have a great chance this tournament. Maybe I was just on the wrong side of the hole a lot, but didn't have too many easy putts. Lots of benders and curly-q putts. Also need to be pretty dialed in for pitch/flop distances and pay attention to the slope of the green when making those approaches.
-15 first round for me. I putted really well.

'i tend to struggle', but ends up shooting -15, must feel good ...

I caught fire for rounds 3 and 4. I was making bombs in Rd 4 and severely breaking putts too. 4 shots better than last week overall. If an algorithm is required: lastWeek = -49; thisWeek = lastWeek -4;

Thank you for eliminating unnecessary brackets. It was just easier to read 😁

Sitting -2 through the first 10 holes made it look like I was going to throw up another mediocre round 1 score to go with last weeks. Then I rattled of 6 straight birdies to finish a respectable -8 and most importantly stayed bogey free.

Looks like I wasn't the only one who decided to pass on last week after getting a look at the course.
This course on the other hand .... Absolutely fantastic. Well done by the designer. Played a short practice round and can't wait to get my first R1 and R2 in the books later tonight.

Found myself in a few bad situations this tournament, but instead of trying to pull off some miracle shot I just tried to play smart.

Not a huge amount but it always feels like when you just get two or three in an event they always manage to happen at the worst time. Early or late in a round, after an eagle, after a miraculous putt that turned a sure par into a birdie, etc. A bogey always sucks but sometimes it feels like it costs you more than just one stroke on the scorecard.

I normally don't sit and play 3 rounds at once, EVER. 2 is my max. I've already played 3 rounds of this one because of the course. It's very enjoyable. Only reason I didn't play all four was time, lol
