Cauliflower. Disgusting, it makes me heave. Sprouts come a close second.
Also dishonourable mentions to bananas, beetroots and snails. Now the French are great with food but snails... just no.

Pickles.
Pickles are disgusting in every sense. They're yellow-green, they're slimy, they smell gross, and they induce vomiting.

I'm going to disgust more people in here HAHAHA.
If I'm ever hungover I eat dill pickles for breakfast and drink the pickle juice. Works like a charm to get me back to normal! I love pickles!!!
Question for the pickle haters in here... can you guys eat cucumbers?

And I will explain, because EVERYONE seems to like mashed potatoes.
When I was little, my dad was trying to get me to eat some, and told me they were ice cream. I took a huge mouthful of them thinking it was ice cream, and threw up. I've hated them ever since, and he felt bad about it the rest of his days. But we always joked about it.
Other than that, I pretty much like everything, and wonder what the reasons are that you guys don't like some of the good stuff!

so you dove in expecting sweet delicious vanilla ice cream and got a mouthful of starch instead... yeah I can see how that would come as sort of a shock. You think you would like them if that had never happened? |

CiB0RG I think I would. I do occasionally try to take a bite or two of them, and they don't taste that bad.
Occasionally my wife will try to make a small batch of them with garlic and/or cheese, because she knows if she loads them up with those flavors, I'll be tempted, as she is trying to help me overcome this. That actually seems to work, I'll eat a small bit of them when she makes them that way.

echomike2 I hear ya! I can remember in grade school cafeteria, they would serve lima beans with those square school pizzas. That would traumatize any kid! And I like ketchup, and I like hot dogs, but NOT together! |
