Will update links if it's more user friendly.
On view only mode, can't seem to 'select player' to be able to see stats. I mean it's ok we see your scores Scott, but would like to switch if possible..

That box won't be usable for you guys unfortunately. The only way you'll be able to use it is if I give you edit access and I don't think you want that kind of power haha. I'll put up people by request and leave them up there though.
Simmed through a couple of big events.
Lorne Smith comes out of relatively nowhere to grab the Players Championship. Then at the WGC Match Play (which was just a normal format w/ 64 players) Mark Colebourne takes it over a surging Dale Burger.
Now that we're past the halfway point we're starting to get a clear picture of who the top dogs are. See below for the sims with the most T25 and you'll get a pretty good picture of who you need to look out for each event. It's only a matter of time befor Paulo claims his first win it seems. He's been lights out in R4's lately.

So I'm going to try and do something a little different tonight. We've made it to the Masters - the top 100WGR get into this event. I've got all the groupings set up. I'm going to stream this event live hole by hole - will start off with an overview of the season so far. Briefly run through the events and then get to simming the Masters live on Twitch. Should be a nerd fest so make sure you don't tell your significant other what we're up to! Will throw out a ballpark time of 11pm EST. Will update here if that is going to change.

Adjusted the min/max events in the WGR calculation (was 30/42 but should be 40/52). So everyone took a points hit as it was dividing your points by 30 events but should have been 40 (for those who have played less than 40 events - which was everyone) from the start - didn't notice it was off but it's corrected now.

Inside the TGCTours Sim engine... From time to time I'll show some of the behind the scenes sheets that crunch the numbers for the sim. This one deals with realistic WGR calculation - it takes all your WGR Points you earned in events (in order), then reverses it so your most recent event is at the top - from there your first 13 events come in at full 100% point value - after that it begins to degrade over time (104 weeks before they are gone completely).
In the following pick each Column (B,C,D etc in first pic and D,E,F etc in 2nd pic) is a golfer's WGR points per event. The first pic is the raw data, the 2nd pic shows that data reversed (newest events first) and older events begining to be worth less points. For example, F6 in the first pic - that golfer earned 9.4 WGR points for that event, but the actual worth after all calcs is 9.2 (2nd last value in Column H of 2nd pic) due to it falling outside the most recent 13 events. As you play more events, the further those numbers go down the chart - further from max value. This all starts having some bigger effects as we move on to the 2nd season and wins from the first season are degrading much quicker.
Also coming into effect is the event factor - your total WGR points get divided by the amount of events you have played - but if that value is lower than 40 or higher than 53, then it sits at one of those min/max values. All things the real life WGR takes into effect, and all in play here.

I do not know whether it is just temporary Scott, but google sheets is locking up or being incredibly slow consistently this morning.
