Not a whole lot of planting done and still very rough, but thought I'd at least post something... Green par 4 hole 4 and tees for par 3 5th..  I see a great looking hole when the planting is done here,  |

Apparently someone is/was working on a LiDAR version of Black Diamond Ranch (the quarry course, they have 1 or 2 others as well).
This looks like a pretty interesting start, looking forward to seeing where this course goes!

I came across this thread after looking to see if a Quarry Pines-esque course existed. Looks like its in the works. It appears more visually appealing than QP from the few pictures provided. Looking forward to this one.

You can only see the quarry on a few holes in AZ...from what I remember. Nothing like your design.

Split fairway par 5 hole 6, choices! Safe to the left but leaves a bender shot to reach...hit the right and its a nice line in..  |

All 18 are in place, now just going one by one and flushing out the planting, setting the pins, etc.. I added in a 5th tee position as well, or at least the space for it. When publishing, do we specify what tees to be judged from? My tips are currently Gold, which is what the course is designed by, but the new position is another 10yds back on most holes (Black). I am hesitant on laying down the tees for that position as I want to make sure my hole variety remains acceptable as that was a main sticking point on Mulligan Grove. Trying to make it so there is a bit of challenge for ALL tour levels, but I also don't want to make the same mistakes.. Tradition par 72, a couple of driveable 4's (one would need favorable wind), par 3's range 135 to 212 with elevations on all of them, par 5's that could be reached in 2 depending on shot selection and of course wind, and the remaining par 4's range 377 to 477.. Haven't posted a lot, but here is a look at the opening hole from behind the green. This one is about 440..  ..and a view from approach...  |

No, we only needed to specify for CC because that contest was aimed at a specific tour
