SkyBlueBen Round 4 in the bag, -12, -48 for the week, I should imagine the winning score will be in the -50's, I will be happy if I can make a top ten finish.

Wow, don't know if I have seen this before. Currently in CC-B, only 5 of the top 32 are playing master clubs.

SkyBlueBen Does anybody know if the greens at Royal County Down are really as turtle-backed as the ones in the game? I swear I had at least five approaches get reasonably close to the pin and then roll off the side of the green, even at 163 (I would hate to see it at 187) - very frustrating . Round 2 a nearly mirror image of Rd 1, -5 on the front and -3 on the back for a total of -8.

sandsaver01 Mike, on a few greens I felt like they were not realistic. I think it was 14 that maybe the design did not match real life. I am only guessing though about real life as I have not seen the course.

SkyBlueBenCan we play links courses every week in Season 7? There's something about them that agrees with me. I seem to play better on that style than anywhere else. Round 3 -15 (56). Sitting at -37 through 3 rounds. Will probably play Round 4 on Saturday.

I will say it again I HATE THIS GAME . started round 3 birdie, birdie, just missing the eagle putt on #1, then proceeded to go 3 putt, 3 putt, 4 putt to be at + 2 after #5. Those 144 greens were killing me - even after practice on them I am consistently either mostly short or, in an effort to make up for that blast it through the break . Managed to come back a little to finish at -5 for Round 3. I was really trying to keep in the top 10 Masters players to get another promotion mark, but now I just have to make sure I finish in the top 100 to avoid going down . Sorry to let my team down. Just let me cry in silence...
Too much very slow, too much putts which do not bend enough. Anyway, that's my usual scores, I shouldn't complain but I pity my fellow Kooplabunz.

Have a look at last season's spreadsheet. There are plenty of players averaging in the mid -20's. Thus, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. The only thing that I really don't like is when people (generally speaking) constantly talk down their own scores and contribution to a team. When you play a round of, say, -5 to -8, then that's a solid score, period. We're not in the PGA Tour here. I, for instance, am satisfied with -5 (okay, maybe -6) or better, and I'm super-happy with -9 or better (keep in mind that this is equivalent to a birdie on every second hole!). (you may want to consider writing Kopplabunz with double p instead of double o, though)
