No mention of the evil pin yet, think it is round four though. The "evil pin" had to be 16 with that elephant buried under the green and the flag on a downslope. Am I right?? I almost jarred a 57 footer 3 feet up the hill. Thought I'd end up way back in the pack with 9 holes to go but came home in 26 strokes (1 par, 2 eagles, 6 birds) for a -41 total.

It'll be -13 cut line. Hated the course immensely. Looks great but playability wise, Just another course that amplifies the faults of the game and turns them up to 11. Side hill lies don't play consistently in the game, so here is a red slop on every shot. Bounce physics are awful so let's make super bumpy and slanted fairways and greens that penalize good shots constantly. Clubs don't have realistic spin, so, let's make tiny landing areas on greens with borderline illegal pins on every hole. This is a TGC1 course not a TGC2019 course. Despite the thrashing I enjoyed the stream! Perhaps more fun to watch than to play!

-17 (-10, -7) at the halfway point. Beginning 2nd round I was getting non stop fast 95% and Z shaped swing lines- so 7th hole, I check on the teen kids and they're both on their xboxes and streaming You Tube videos on their PCs. Circuit breaker to off for their rooms cured that problem and my swing instantly improved.
I'll admit I enjoy this course a sh|t-ton more in a non tournament setting- there's a lot of hit and hope out there... but I do like that every plays hole completely different from round to round depending on wind direction.

Couldn't get it going in round 4. So even though I made 2 eagles I only got -8 in easy conditions. I did manage to make a birdie on 16 though. Probably the most difficult hole this round. See you next week

I didn't get as far as round 4 to try that pin position despite getting an Albatross on round 1, smacking against he pin more than half way up and popping straight down into the hole!

See you next week Tweet tweet on 16 in R4? Geez! Well done. Maybe I got lucky with the wind but in was a perfect 7 iron to 9ft I believe and the putt went in. Also the 2 eagles I made were tap-ins. The rest of the round was less positive lol...

Only redeeming factor about H16 R4 was the very soft greens. Meant if you could get it just right, you could land it very close and it would sit.

And based on this thread and the overall reaction to my comments I am in the minority here. I think it typically turns into me just wanting something different out of the courses than others. And most of the time my complaints are more towards the conditions. Thanks for watching the stream and I look forward to playing your next course.

Well the evil pin wasn't so evil to me luckily.....landed 6ft from hole and tapped in a bird! (Must try harder Dan) 😂😂 Finished strong in the last round that saved my 2 ok middle rounds.
-10 -6 -6 -13
Total -35 for the week.

Sometimes you’ve got to walk the line to make guys think. Sometimes it’s brutal (and unfair) but sometimes it can elevate play and make for some interesting golf. Either way it was great to see some passion and emotion. I’d consider my work a failure if it didn’t bring it out.

Unfortunately, I couldn't hold the pace from the first three rounds and finished with -3. Of course I'm still happy with my overall result of -31. The evil hole 16 was a double for me as I landed left of the pin and rolled all the way down. 144 greens with 3 ft upwards was a bit too heavy for me, so I only managed to get up there on the third attempt. Looking forward to next week! Hopefully I can conirm my made cut.

R3 -8, R4 -13 for a -38 total and one shot off green tick... again. 3 shots to get out of #2 FW bunker- including one that went back over the top of my head- was the difference. R4#16, landed one foot right of LFCallum's tap in, and ended up 48' away.
great shooting LFC! I play your ghost a lot on here and DAM and you sold your soul here this week- it was amazing to watch everything go in.

Haha thanks mate, I'm ginger so I don't have a soul anyway but yeah, was really zoned in this week. Was challenging because I felt there was an emphasis on picking spots to hit well. As I've already said though, it's likely the best I've ever played!
