Welcome to Los Condenados, I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I've enjoyed creating it. For the couple of people that haven't been avidly following my WIP thread, this is my Rookie design contest entry. The golf course is situated in the Monfrague National Park in Western Spain. During General Franco's reign the Morientes Dam was built to regulate the flow of the Suarez river, in doing so however the fertile ground around the river was damaged irreversibly and the locals all moved away to the nearby towns. One family stayed, the Alonso's. The Alonso's eldest son Xabi was injured during the Spanish civil war, during the war years Xabi learnt from is comrades about the growing recreational sport of Golf, he returned to the family Casa a shadow of the energetic man that left, but what he lacked in speed and endurance he more than made up for in creativity and determination, so after the dam was built and the fields became overgrown he set to work creating the golf course we see today. Xabi and his amigos Mascherano, Reina and Garcia worked tirelessly for a decade before opening the course to the public. At 7'325 yards off the back tees, the course was designed to play totally differently depending on the wind and its speed, no wind should see birdies a plenty, high winds and as a visiting professional from Finland {Jari Litmanen} said as he ordered a San Miguel in the clubhouse.... "golf voitti tanaan, vahvin oluesi kiitos" Set in the delta theme, the vegetation changes depending on whereabouts you are on the course, i've spent far too many hours in front of the PS4 to be objective but i hope you find holes that you like, i know there's one hole in there which will divide opinion ! I've learnt a lot during the contest and hope that everyone who reads this also leaves some feedback and gives the other contest entries a play too. Thank you to those of you that have helped throughout the design, it is sincerely appreciated Happy swinging y'all

Well, I certainly produced an interesting scorecard and happy that I recovered from my worst ever start to a round when I just couldn't find a tempo but could find every runoff on the first four greens... I'm going to guess that 14 is your prediction for the split opinion hole . A seriously good entry here and hope others give it a play - it was a lot of fun and the real strength is the variety of hole designs and routing.

B101 Thanks for the play Ben, an eagle on 11 is very rare you've got to hit a perfect second for that. Great come back during the back nine, glad you enjoyed it

Riotous i went back and started again, as i said a lot of work went into this one i can tell. I refuse to comment on anything i disliked until the judging is done so i will focus on what i liked, same goes for all other releases i comment on. The theme and hole layout looked like it had been there forever and thats not easy to do. The textures were good and the looks from the tees i enjoyed. My fav hole was 18 although im sure it will be some others least. Well done Sam and good luck.

Sam, got one in on this track, loved the way you used a lot of the natural terrain to route the holes. Really good view on that first par 3 across the gulch.
I think you'll do well with this entry! Good luck sir!
