Had to triple-check that I didn't call it Das Elite.
Anyway, first round was kinda shaky, was pulling everything right, didn't make a ton of putts, had a 3-putt bogey on 3 from 10 feet, including a lip-out on the 9 foot par putt. Managed to scrape and claw my way to a relatively respectable 65, puts me on the back foot a bit but not too deep a hole.
Then, despite the high winds, I had one of those rounds where (outside of a bogey on 10) it seemed like I got just about every bounce and roll to go my way. Had a birdie on a par 5 after putting my second shot in a fairway bunker, had multiple birdies from heavy rough off my drives. Made a bunch of nasty putts including a triple breaking 39 footer. Ended up shooting a 61 to get to -18, which is tied for the lead on PC through 2 rounds. If people on PS4 scored like the PC players did that might put me back in the mix to get my third mark.

First round I didn't sink a thing -4. Second Round played better and sunk a couple good putts for -8.
-12 in those second round winds might sneak the cut, but again might just miss out. I guess playing 2 rounds a week means I won't get any better!

-40 is usually the number for a top 10. And after another ridiculous start, I’ve gone and shot -39 like a jerk. Good luck to everyone!

Had a nice -5 to start the front 9 and birdied 2 of the first 3 holes on the back and visions of getting in the top 10 were dancing in my head...then my putting woes snuck back up as I parred my way in for a solid but disappointing-7. Missed 4 birdies 10 feet and under. Shot another -7 in round 2 and hoping that gets me to the weekend. Got a work trip the rest of the week so I went ahead and played rounds 3 and 4 with a -4 and -8. Had some tempo issues round 3 but a solid 4 rounds.
The highlight for me was this was my first tourney with 2 hole in ones. Had one round 3 and 4

I will use this thread as therapy, as I need to vent my frustrations I'm on a two week run where I am missing 5 putts a round. The putts are stopping one inch from the cup, or just running past the edge by an inch, or lip out. It's happening so often I'm starting to doubt myself, which leads to tempo issues and everything else. I'll keep at it, but It's zapping the fun at the moment. I started this tourney with three straight birds to go -3 thru 3. I then have one of the putts listed above, then another, and another so I'm still -3 after 7. I had a couple bogeys and end the round -4. I needed a -9, -10 minimum to make the cut round 2, and fell way short of the mark with more unlucky putting and other issues. To crown my S&!% tourney, I triple boggied the 18th. I hit a VS out of the blue and my ball went all the way down the hill into the backyard of one of the houses 300 yrd's away...LOL! Red mark inbound. I hope I can get it together soon. Good luck guys and I'll see you next week. Now I'll go play the Promo event to try and work out my game.

Still. Hate. This. Game. There is no rhyme or reason to the Xbox swing and tempo and I’m sick of it. Starting to quit my society and other rounds, Euro rounds are next to go. I hope that's a joke, I'd take that score card any round...LOL! That's 12 birds! Grant it 3 bogey's as well.

The scenery in this course is gorgeous, I love that village...never thought of it as in play though! Agree the course was great, no complaints with anything but my play. I did have to laugh when I hit that VS going with an 18mph wind left to right, as I watched my ball fly all the way down to the houses below. As it was rolling down the hill, I was asking myself...If that stays inbounds how in the he!! am I going to hit a 2 wood or 2 Iron up that hill...LOL

Yeah this can be a real bummer because you’re playing really solid golf but the scores aren’t reflecting it. All you can do is hang in and wait for some luck. I can’t tell you how many stretches I go through where I burn edges or lip out basically everything, but then I start draining all these pulled and pushed putts later on to make up for my earlier misfortune.

Thx, yes, the game comes and goes in waves. I hope to pull out of it by next tourney. YOU are killing it this week. I hope rds 3 and 4 are or went just as well. Good luck!!
