-4 thru 5 to open albeit on some of the easiest rated holes on the course and then my usual play returned finishing the next 13 at -4 . Round 2 I am horrible on the first 3 holes going +1 and then what were the par train holes in round 1 turned into the birdie train holes for round 2 going -10 for the next 11 .Only 1 bird for the last 4 and in at -18 at the halfway point. The rare good stretch of holes at least gives me a shot at the cut and another 45-55 place finish . I enjoyed the course after 2 rounds.A decent and fair challenge so far. Thanks to the designer.Best of luck folks.

Not much to say. -4 after a triple on #17, and then a solid round of -10 to get close to the cut but likely still miss. It is a bit sad, but the only events I am looking forward to at the moment are the alternate events where the mediocre talent can dream of competing.

As they say...If you can't beat em, join em. I am an Aussie for the week.
I believe rawesy has the inside info too on where to chill with the ladies...

Makes sense. You swing just like them already.

Makes sense. You swing just like them already. I have been told I am a bit flicky and do get some shorties but swing the same as I did in TGC2 when I switched to the left stick. It's not intentional I can tell you. Apparently it's not straight enough to fail the API in over a year...yet!

It's not intentional I can tell you. Apparently it's not straight enough to fail the API in over a year...yet! I was so out of the loop, I just found out this “some shorties” thing is common. My alt shot group and I were playing the other night and we were snapping screenshots of our swings and sharing them. All of them were getting short swings at some point, and it didn’t seem that rare of an occurrence! They said they’re not flicking and I trust them, but damn I’ve never gotten a short swing even once! I have a lot of fun playing this game, but I’m starting to get frustrated thinking a large majority of players have at least a small advantage over me. Last season I got solo second in The Open Championship to a guy who got API’d the following week. How many bad swings did he end up hitting fairways/greens on during the open because they ended up short swings? Even if it was just a couple that’s a couple more than I had, and that’s why I’ll probably never win on this tour. I’m a competitive guy and I’ll keep trying my hardest, but I’m slowly becoming certain that while I may contend sometimes, I’ll never win.

As the setup guy for making this track a bit harder...I accept and embrace all the hate this week. I know it's toeing the line in spots but that was kind of the idea. There's enough easy out there that I figured it was ok to slap yer nuts in a few spots. The greens are wank

Halfway through my first round and I've missed 3 or 4 birdie putts by centimetres and then I'm 50ft off the green chipping for par. Not exactly true to life if you ask me!

Hence, why I put up a weekly post to show a video of your game. It’s not to single people out but only to show who plays a common way. Sort of of who’ s who. For instance, Daxon and Mitch shot great the last few weeks and it’s nice to know they play as I do.

I like courses like this. It saves me time in separating who plays the game like me and who is playing some alternative with no deviation in their swing.
I felt there were a lot of unrewarding shots throughout. Should make the cut but sort of boring with the unnecessary micro-tiering on all the greens.
