Round 1 in at -14. ππ
Pretty well in all aspects. ππ
Flops/pitches were well done. π¬π¬
Laid back on quite a few holes. ππ
Missed some makers as is my staple. ππ
Near 30-footer made on 12 I believe. π²π²
Good luck all. ππ

On my ps4 pro the lag was only noticeable in a couple spots. One hole in particular in the middle of the front 9. All in all not that bad but that one hole was really rough.
I finished my r1 and peeked at the R2 conditions before shutting down but didn't play it yet. I came in here to see what people thought of R2. About as expected. 4-5 shots harder seems the general consensus....makes sense.
I put up a -13 in round 1 and feel like I left a few shots out there. The number of scores at -15/-16 doesn't surprise me. Almost surprised no one cracked -17/-18. I thought as I was playing r1 this is going to take -24 or -25 to make the cut this week, but that was under the assumption that r2 was similar conditions.
What makes the cut this week? -21? -22? I'm going into r2 assuming I need a -8 to get to -21, or better.

Missed something like a 7ft putt on 18 to get into a tie after the 1st round. Putted exceptionally well outside of that one, so I guess I was due for a silly miss. As far as the course/lag is concerned, I had to crank graphics down to lego settings (obj detail 3) just to get consistent visual feedback (FPS), so I can imagine there was a lot of lag to go around for those of you unable to alter that setting (or who didn't want to play TGC-Flipbook).

Well I overwhelmed round 1 with a -16, and played really well! Great way to start after a missed cut last week when I sucked the biggest suck that ever sucked a suck! However if things hold true to form I'll underwhelm one of the remaining rounds and probably whelm the other two...so as always, we'll see.

Nice to see some familiar names both shooting the shots and sucking the suck (and complaining about setup too π). I decided to tee it up again when I found myself with some time on Sunday, and glad I did. If nothing else I know I can get myself in the mix after a -10 and -11 to start. Hopeful that a solid round 2 gets me past the new lower cutline. Despite some flipbook putts it was a really fun course and setup this week. Loved the 187's in Rd 3 and 4.

Pretty average final two rounds from me - 60-62, each with two bogies.
Swing malfunctioned a little bit, the lag got to me (Holes 5 & 8 can f**k off ) mixed with some clumsiness on the greens. For all the good work the next cock up was never far away.
Still, i got to -50 which i think has only happenned once before on TGC2019.
Top 10 maybe

Really struggled the first round in the low winds and couldn't getting anything going until the back nine. A rather meh -8. Round two really should have been the around same score but I holed three or four putts/chips from just off the green which was quite special. I would have been happy with a -8 in the second round with those winds, but played very well and got to -13, just lipping an eagle putt on #18. I'd like to think -21 is safe for the cut. Maybe it will be with the second round winds but I will probably be scoreboard watching. On the plus side i moved up a whole 4 WGR positions. First time in almost a year I moved up!
Looking at the leaderboard. I suspect top 65 will be around -11 after round one, so I'm going to bank on the fact that people are going to have more problems with round two and -21 will squeak in. Going to be close!

Holed out for eagle on 18 in round 2 to have me post back to back -10's for a -20. Thinking that's safe based on the PS4 leaderboard... but we'll see I guess... a lot of people bunched super closely together.

Best I've played in a long while, won't make the cut but was bogey free.
R1 -11, missed a bunch of birdie putts too. Longest holed putt of 9.4 feet sums that up. R2 -3, putting woes continued.
Hopefully -14 is enough to avoid a strike. Didn't have any tempo issues or wonky swings this week, I have noticed my swing is much better when playing with a fully charged controller so will see if thats the case next week or if its in my head?
Good luck those still to play and roll on the 2 upcoming minor events where I might have a chance at making a cut, so long as we don't get swamped by an influx of promo players next week.
