Was feeling pretty solid out there in round 1. Shot a -10...all good except for one terrible three putt bogey. Loved the scenery of this course, but it certainly isn’t as punishing as last week’s....still quite enjoyable. Wait until you hit into the side hill pins in round 2 You called it....in a series of poor decisions that involved alcohol, becoming increasingly careless while getting increasingly frustrated, and being unable to navigate what seemed to me like a much more difficult pin set for round 2...I fell apart and lost my chance at the cut this week. An epically bad tgc round(+3) for me becomes a lesson in self-control moving into the rest of the year.

Uneven fairways and undulating greens = Hit and hope Fact, i hit one tee shot down the right side of one fairway, bounced the whole way across the fairway into the rough on the left, couldn't make sense of it. Either way I'm hoping the ball bounced that way for a lot of people or its a short week for me What hole was that? I'm assuming it was round 2 with very firm settings?

Beautiful looking course but man it played like a pinball machine -6 & -4 for what looks like a missed cut unless everyone plays like me 🤣🤣 Depending on how many others play this week, there's still a slim hope you squeak through.

If any of you guys streamed your rounds and have them available to watch on VOD, please let me know. I always enjoy watching folks play courses I've designed in TGCT tourneys, not only for the reward of seeing a course on tour, but also as a means of feedback for future designs. I've kept my eye out a bit on twitch but haven't noticed any yet, not exactly the greatest platform for finding the exact VOD you want, so give a shout if your rounds video is somewhere out there! Hope everyone enjoyed the challenge of the course, and best of luck to those yet to finish!

First tournament on the Euro tour started off great, -13 round one, pretty chuffed with that.... then.... round 2, -3. ugh, generally pride myself on good play in high winds, not the case this time. Will play rounds 3 and 4 with a bit more tentativeness.

@b.Smooth13 I'm not on this tour but I took a look at your course and it's beautiful. The slopes in general, and most landing area's get you thinking. I particularly enjoyed the layout of the 1st par 5. In retrospect, I think the best play there is laying up in the fairway to the left, otherwise you face a potential monster putt, or that evil demon slope behind the green long. Do you have a full list of all the courses you've published? Thanks

I'm not on the Euro Tour but here's my round if you're interested. Keep in mind I'm not the fastest player out there (especially B9, as it was my first play), so feel free to FF o_^. I played with your course default settings. Here's the F9:

Third round had 7 birdies and an eagle on the front nine, was 2 feet from an albatross on 9. Birdied 10 then missed a birdie on 11 by 5 inches. Nearly had another eagle on 14 with a long putt.
Was -14 through 17 when I hit a fast downswing into the water off the tee on 18 and had to re-hit. Managed to save bogey but should have been a 57 instead of a 59. Left me needing a 65 to tie for the lead in the final round.
Started off by missing a 9 foot birdie on 1. Birdied 2 then just missed a 16 footer on 3. Lipped out a 25 foot eagle on 4. Another near eagle on 9, but got though the front 9 at -7, tied for the lead overall at -39. Took the lead with an 8 foot birdie on 10. Putting continued to be pretty great, made a 41 footer on 12. Had some shaky approach shots down the stretch and missed a 6 foot birdie on 18 but finished with a 61 to take the lead by 4 strokes.
Not quite over yet, but I think there's a good chance I've got my first victory since May of 2017.
