I agree with whoever said that if each of us donated just a little every month, nothing that we would even miss, it would be worth it to each of us a hundred times over. Has there ever been any thought to charging a small monthly fee? I realize that makes this a business, with the inherent problems that brings. I'll make a donation anyway, but I'll see how I go about making it a monthly thing. Obviously I expect favouritism in return. I agree with you in principle, but in reality all that would do is make the numbers playing plummet. There are many reasons people don't contribute, they might be casual players, they might not have any spare cash, they might not trust PayPal, they might simply not feel like they should do. Awareness is another key, as well as transparency of where the money is being spent. To be fair, I love this place and have massive gratitude to the people running it, but these are not two of their strong points! To anyone who has been here a while and doesn't contribute, if you can you really should think about it. How many hours enjoyment do we get out of this place? I set up a monthly donation a few years ago, only works out as about ยฃ1 a week, bargain! And it's not an amount I miss every month and my missus is quite happy. Everyone has different circumstances, but if more just made the smallest of recurring donations there wouldn't be a problem. Certainly, it's totally wrong for any of the admin to be out of pocket for providing these tours, and all that goes with them. Clearly another donation drive is planned, it worked quite well last time. But guys, give us some numbers! I think you'll find you'll be even more successful if you do. I hope so anyway, this place is amazing

If I remember correctly, I was told in a tweet there are 7,000 people signed up. I don't know many are actually active, but if as many as 50%, a one time YEARLY fee of $4.99 would net $17k, give or take. $5 bucks a year. A YEAR, not month.
As far as where the money goes... if it covers cost and leaves them some extra to bring in additional resources, upgrades, improvements, or even allows them to go out to dinner on "us", I'm fine with it.
The only thing I ask for my $4.99 is they turn off the aiming reticule and LIE grid on the "pro" tours (lie grid, not green grid, relax aid players). ๐๐๐
J/k....I think. ๐

Well i think its a great idea especially considering this is being played across 3-4 platforms. i was playing in a society and i was playing against players who had birdied every hole and this is on very fast green & fairways and myself was lucky to get one birdie let alone 17 more. i think its only fair to stop the cheaters in this game it make for better game play and a fairer competition in my opinion.
