I'm gonna be pushed for time to get my rounds in this week so played my first round blind without any practice......
Only managed -6....I needed a 3 iron for a few approach shots which I didn't have, so I would recommend you guys stick one in your bag.
My wife also insisted on giving me a running commentary on tracking a package that is being delivered today, that also didn't help....lol!

Just an update to my qschool endeavor. Took my wonky new swing and battled to a score that would have won the ccpro event.. on countback. This was deemed enough to slap me back onto the pga tour which I was hoping for web or euro really, but it is what it is. Fun time is over though that's for sure

Started off great in round 1. Missed a couple of putts I should have made but made a couple of bombs I wasn't expecting to, so kinda evened out. Had a couple of approaches that were tough but used slopes to get into birdie range. Round 2 the wind really hurt me. Had a difficult time judging on some holes and just couldn't get a lot of birdie attempts. Round 3 was kinda happy after 3-putt bogey on 1st hole inside 10 feet. Round 4 started on fire with an eagle on the 1st and a good string of birdies to start. Went dead cold on back nine and limped in missing about 4 straight mid length putts sliding right by the hole.
As always, could have played better in spots. Had some good shots though. Not the easiest course in terms of distance (don't think there was a single par 5 with a real chance to get there in 2).
R1: -15 R2: -7 R3: -11 R4: -10 ------ -43 total

-15 R1. I felt like I was either hot or cold; close or far. I made the unfortunate mistake of forgetting to change clubs on 2 shots. One of those left me around 40F short and the other 40F long. Grrrr!!!, and lol. All things considered, I'm very happy with the round. Imo R1 had very nice pins, at least for yardage. No gaps at all. yaters The 1st par 5, if you have even a little bit of tail wind, simply aim to the other fairway to the right. There is a severe downslope, and your drive will be 300+. Then hit a driver with full loft off the deck and you can easily make the green.

I had a -15 in Rd 1 too. Rd 2 was disappointing, only shooting -5. I think I missed 6 putts under 10ft 😣

I feel your pain =/. I'm extremely OCD and can overthink my shots. I've been known to take over 6minutes on a single putt, counting every grid box dot speed several times, and then applying the appropriate multiplication break factors, and still miss by a mile. Can you say.......

Does anyone know what the exact conditions are for R3? I accidentally hit advance and didn't see. I know R2 was firm fairway, firm green, fast green speeds, EAST wind, and everything else default. Cheers and thank you in advance.

I finished -45. Had a silly bogey on #18 in Rd 4. I had the wrong club off the tee and went massively long, which left a near impossible putt, which went off the green, from there I failed to chip in.
