I’ll have to look at that pin closer, it’s pretty rare that my pins are referred to as a joke or BS. I wasn’t even pushing the difficulty on this course. Hmm... its got me curious. i might have to give it a play.

I shouldn't have said anything, just frustrated having the ball roll back to my feet twice and also putting off the green twice on the same hole. Everyone is playing the same course with the same pins. I just need to play better.

Personally I didnt find anything impossibly unfair. I thought maybe the odd severe slope here or there on the greens might have been a tad much, but other than that it was fine. Made for a good challenge in which you really needed to be on the ball throughout to maintain a good score. Maybe the course conditions were set up much tougher than you intended. Two rounds had the greens at very firm/very fast.

What’s going on with 7 is this another putt to within 1 inch and have the ball roll back to your feet situations

I thought the first few holes to start the back 9 were a little bit weird. The first par 3 on the back I hit the green all 4 rounds and all with different clubs/lofts/ball flights/etc... Not one of them stayed on the green or even close. Good shots shouldn't be punished. There's a par 4 that wasn't reachable with a perfect-perfect Driver then 2 wood. That seems a little bizarre. Some of the holes with bunkers placed to driver length in the fairway didn't have any "easy" layup option. So you're pretty much forced to attempt to attack a 15 foot wide landing zone with undulation to boot. If anything I'd say a couple of the holes are just a tad unfair. Only one man's opinion though. Hey, "E-flight"ers ! I'm an Pro Club XBoxer in Z, but nobody there seems to be interested in discussion sometimes. I totally agree with the feedback on #7 - it WAS pretty rough in round 2. 4 under through 6 for the day, then I took triple after landing it gently (so I thought) within 10 feet. It pissed me off so much I bogeyed 4 of the next 5 (which explains a lot about my focus & why I'm in "Z"). Keep up the good play !

This seems like a tough course for me after completing the first round, but then again, most of the courses seem tough for me. LOL
Managed to take 12, yes a 12, on Hole #6. Hit it right on the edges and after teasing me for a bit, the ball decided to roll dooooooooown the cliff to a point 75 yards away from the hole, but 125 feet below. Almost impossible to get back up the cliff.
Even disregarding that hole, still did not play that well. Three rounds to go. Will see what I can do to avoid demotion!!!!

Round 2 was not much better. I have to agree that the pin placement on hole 7 was very very tough. My approach rolled up to the hole aaaaaaaand then back down the slope, off the green, and down some more.
However, everybody plays the same course in the same conditions, and others seem to do just fine, so no major complaints from me. LOL
I definitely see CC-F in my future.

DAM, really bummed to hear of so many troubles on this course. All of the pins and conditions were set by me, so I take full responsibility if things didn't turn out great for you guys.
Regarding hole 6, I could totally understand that this was an area that probably should've been marked as OB for tournament play.

Is exactly because people like you that this community is what it is, for me. Really, i couldn't appreciate you more. (i had not the chance to play the course, but is totally secondary, it couldn't affect my feeling in any way. Is just your way to deal with people and situation, that shows the best of you. You are a great guy and this is priceless) Just this. Have a nice week-end

I started off not liking this course after a couple of practice rounds but it’s grown on me during the week, thank you Vic for a lovely course.

Maybe someday I can redeem myself by getting catcherman22 to consider Palms @ Gator Creek for CC-Am, and I'll make the pins and conditions really favorable. ;-)

For me, it is tough course and a challenge, but as I mentioned above, everybody is playing the same thing, and a lot of good scores are showing up. My scores are more a reflection of my ability than the course! LOL

I actually found a lot of backstops behind some of the pins to use to feed the ball towards the hole. I finished -31 and sitting in 5th so hopefully a fast track to CC-D coming for me.

Yeah I didn't mind it so much either. Used the backstops myself. Bogied 7 twice, parred it twice so it wasn't too bad for me. Sometimes you have to play safe and can't be too aggressive.
