Not bad! I sit at -18 after 2 (pair of -9's) - not quite as good R3, and round 4 was a struggle for some reason.. maybe too much playtime on the course with all the testing I did on it... -27 - won't be enough to win, but at least a decent showing on my home course!! I can tell you that we'll finished tied for whatever place we get. Started out -4 through 4 in round 4 and figured I was on track for a good round, then struggled mightily to be consistent in the middle of the round before finishing with two birdies in the last three holes for a 67.A pair of three putt pars killed me in round 4. Or at least kind of a three putt par on 15. I thought I hit a perfect shot, up the hill, caught the slope for the middle tier and I figured I'd be tap in for eagle. Nope, it went all the way back off the green and about 20 yards further down the hill before getting into the rough. Pretty harsh with the firm/very fast conditions key. Nice design - definitely not easy, but pretty fair other than that issue on 15 in round 4, which was down to the brutal green setup.

Looks like it might be close this week for the top ten. There's always someone that has an amazing tournament and beats the field by a few shots but the rest are always very close.
Anyone have any idea how the fast track promotions work other than the tournament winners? Is it a certain percentage above the field average or something?

I'm -14 after 2.
I'm actually hoping my next 2 rounds are better but hearing that you guys found them harder isn't giving me hope.
Will be playing them tonight so we will see

Steve The Fast Track is based on some number above standard deviation - (that number is undefined) - but usually ends up being in the top 10 depending on what the top 10 looks like..

I got bit on 15 myself in R4 LOL - I should've known better - that pin was designed to be in a tough spot - easy to get to, but hard to hold - especially with max speeds - I published at 163 speeds - which may be a bit better for that pin on 15 rather than the 187 the tourney round was set to..

There will be weeks that are strange.. I went through a 2 week stretch where one week shot -20, finished somewhere like 65th or so, next week shot -20 again and ended up 115ish... This seems to be one of those weeks where mid -20's will likely be somewhere in the top 75 range.. but we'll see how the rest of the field handles the F/VF greens in R4..

Conditions didn't really bother me, it was me the pin positions coupled with really bad putting by me.
Just for a -9 in high winds at over Brook last night so I'm confident for the promo event.
Although I followed it up with an even in mid wind but my concentration was elsewhere that round

Posted an awesome -14 in the first round which I was very happy with.
However followed it up with an average -9 in the second.
Hope for a couple of 10s at least to finish to have my first event under 40

Well, interesting one this week. The course is a birdie fest by the looks of the first round scores, I almost wasn't going to play tbh. I prefer it moderately difficult which evens out the playing field a little. I suppose after the last two tournaments a really easy course was on the cards for the -60 score lovers out there lol.
I've carded my lowest ever round of -39 which sounds pleasing on paper but I can't help but think that this will only be enough for a 40's to 50's finish. Now I know what it feels like for the Tour guys in the top league!
Here's to hoping I get some luck in the promo event and get into a higher league!
Peace
Steve
