The quest for promotion is on track I guess. Sitting on -25 at the halfway point and I'm thinking I'll need to keep that pace to have a chance at that 3rd promo. I havent played as well as I'd like tho, with quite a few tempo mistakes made. Sank many putts but I mean, the greens have been (so far) on the easy/very easy side, so dont consider that much of an achievement.
Track is fine, other than the ridiculously long par 3 on the back 9.

Track is fine, other than the ridiculously long par 3 on the back 9. Cheers, yeah I did get a bit carried away with the length of the 13th, the hole it was based on measures 257 yards from the back tee to the back of the green.

Dont worry, I havent had to hit driver at it yet It's a nice track. I'm currently working on my 2nd design, which I'm hoping is a significant improvement on the 1st! -37 thru R3. Would love to get to 50 tomorrow.

I have struggled on the par 3's this week. My own fault. Really good test. Rd two ruined my chance of a PB final standing. which is 29th to date. Permission for bottom lip to tremble. Regards Chef.

I am still trying my hardest in CC-C, but I am wondering if it matters very much right at the moment (unless you are trying to get to the top of the Money list or something)? It seems likely to me that when TGCTours (or whatever they will call it, PGA2KTours?) shifts to the new game we will have to go through Q-School anyway.

Right now, I'm just enjoying the challenge of competition and I'm not worrying a great deal about what's to come tbh.

I dont really know what happened my emotionas are a mix of joy and just wtf happened. Rd 4 needed a good one to maybe get my last red mark off. Front 9 felt a bit annoyed with daft misses after a few good practice rounds.. Then hit a purple patch like i have never before.. Felt like everything was unmissable. An 11 under back 9 which had an ace and Directly followed by an eagle. Well atleast i broke 60 atlast.. Still mythed.. But extremely happy. Keep it culinary. Chef.

A frustrating and disappointing final round of -9 sees me finish on -46 for the week. Played the final 8 holes at just -1. The 144 greens threw me a little as I much prefer faster greens. Had way too many tempo mistakes too. Very unusually for me, I even chalked up a few slow transitions which left me short a few times. Swing just wasn't there.
Oh well, not a bad week nonetheless and maybe good enough for that 3rd promo mark. We'll see.

In at -38 for the week (-12, -5, -9, -12)...R2 killed me as I slid countless putts across the edges and also managed to badly push consecutive putts from inside 10 feet for a juicy double bogey 5 on the 2nd hole. Not overly thrilled with my R3 score either since the moderate green firmness made the day very much like tossing lawn darts with approach shots and I didn't land enough of them inside the 15-foot circle. But at least will be in the top half of the field and a red mark coming off as I hope to finish the season in CC-D and then we'll see where everyone lands in the new scramble for positioning in 2K21. Loving next week's course already.

R1 -11 R2 -8 R3 -5 R4 -9
-33 total
Much tougher test than the birdiefest we had last week. Easiest winds in round 3 and I had my worst round, go figure. Would like to have that one back but am happy with how I played besides that stretch in the 3rd round. Good luck everybody.

It was the best of tournaments, it was the worst of tournaments...had to blitz through things due to returning to work this week, so in the clubhouse at -17 for the event (-9, E, -7, -1). I have no clue why I handled the high winds well on Day 1 but acted like I hadn't a clue on Days 2 & 4.

I really love this course, but you wouldn't know it by how I played this week. It's a common theme with me that I always play poorly on either my own designs, or the designs I really enjoy from friends. It must be some sort of subconscious internal pressure or something. Great pick here regardless catcherman22. -3, -7, -7, -9 = -26 total That could be in the danger zone of a demo mark, although at this point in the season that doesn't concern me too much. However, being 2nd on the money list, I will probably LOSE ground to Michael Vincent and others this week. Might not be enough time left to make that up.

I agree Mr Lane lovely course. I love hate how frustrating this game can make you. Had two practice rounds -8 and -10. Went on to do my first round.. And. 3 under.. So underwhelming i just had to laugh. Oh well on to rd 2 looking for closer to -10 hopefully. ( jinxed it now).
In the short time i have been here and reading the forms. Really looking forward to next season. Ill hoping to hae a run on the money list and again Mr lane sorry to say this But i kind of spot your name on the leaderboard and try to keep that as my aim.. Gl all Keep it Culinary Chef.
