Round 2 slightly better. Bogey on 2 again, but otherwise clean with 5 birdies. -4.
-7 halfway is not horrible but if many struggle maybe it's not all bad.
Onward!

Round 2 - WOW! I played a bored practice round (nothing else to do) Monday night with pin set 2 and default everything else just to make sure there were no REAL decisions, just a casual killing time round. PLUS 7! LOL So when the real time came I knew I could not sleep walk.
STILL tough for me -2 Am I being too aggressive? -9 now after 2 rounds
I really loath this course but it's sneaky good yet irritating as hell :-)
I TOTALLY understand +2 I saw a Ghost with a 26 handicap get +5
Bizarro scoring this event - is there even a handicap rating for this thing? Not many plays

I played on next week’s course just to see what it was like. Oh man it’s another tough one next week!
Also, pretty jealous of CC-Am that gets to play Lake Sofia next week.

Lake Sofia is one of my all time favorite courses in TGC. Why do that get that gem and not us. ( Stamping my pre coffee feet. LOL )

I played every course on the Dream Team Challenge and Geiranger was MY winner as the most fun course of the 20 - thanks catcherman22. after playing Geiranger and then seeing Sindre also did Lake Sofia I played all of his courses. Certainly one of the best designers. I hope we can play Lake Sofia later in the year. BTW - I'm relaxing my views on the current course even though I seemed to have skipped geometry in highschool. Many nuances. Not enjoyable but certainly challenging if you hit a bad shot. An interesting pick. Well done, hope I never see it again LOL

Didn't think I had a chance in hell of a promo mark this week but judging by the scores through two rounds I'm sitting in sixth with masters.
Fingers crossed. My final round is eating at me.

LOL) Screwed the pooch in Round 2 with a -2 Saw this post midway through the front 9 of round 3. Was 7 under through 2 rounds, -2 through 4, was thinking Rod was a little coco for cocoa puffs. This course is not giving up THAT much. Then I dropped an unexpected iggle on 5. Turned on a clean -6. STILL, back nine I was only -3 on so far, if I can get it to 7 or 8 under I would be stoked. But I didn't see this coming: par, par, then seven straight birdies! -7 in, signed card for -13!! I do believe this 58 is the first sub 60 I have EVER had on TGCT competition. Don't remember one, and don't know how to look into historical data as the profile page only shows low round of this season. I am still stunned. Onward!

Go to TGCTours and click on your name - that will bring up all your scores for each tour. I had two 59s in the second event after 5 out of 6 70+ rounds! LOL So consistent. Congrats. AA_PHILCHICK had a -14 and I think he birdied 8 out of 9 on the front 9.

Was backing up the great 58 until the last hole where poor chip and 2 bad putts lead to a double. Still finished -6 for the round and -26 for the event. A lot better than I ever thought after the start of this tourney.
Onward to next week!
