Nice going Thomas, but I think I will top you this week unless the world falls apart.. So far -13 on 1st round includes an ace on Hole 2 and followed up with -8 on 2nd round.. last 2 rounds will be done later in the week.

Thank you sir, hopefully this is a sign to come for future tournaments, I have invested a good amount of time for practicing. I wish you my guarded best, that you come one shot short 😝 If I remember correctly, I think I eagled at least one hole all 4 rounds. Haven’t had an ace in a long time.

-13 is very good going, that’s what I’m enjoying about this course, every hole is a scoring opportunity but you’re also 5yds away from a Par. How does countback work? I’m currently 17th but 2nd in the -9 ‘group’, my last three holes were 5/4/2 the chap in ‘1st’ went 5/4/3. Is count back on the last hole, last three, back nine? Thanks

I must be the only one but I am really not enjoying this course. Tee to green it's pretty good, but the greens themselves are awful. While I am not a great player, I am consistent (no demotion marks last season), I am close to needing scientific notation for the amount of putts I'm having!!!

Round 3 was a battle with the wind. Bogey on 2 but still managed to turn at -3. Double on 14 was due to a very poor approach, but did rally to finish -5.
-19 thru 54, hopefully solidly in no promo/no demo land.
Onward!
Decided to carry Onward. After seeing the conditions I was second guessing my decision, but I remembered I am known for poor decisions so off I went.
Outward half was clean, fighting mostly headwinds to a -2 turn.
Inward half saw two iggles, chip in on 12 and a long putt on 17. Clean as well -7, so a tidy -9 to finish at -28 and should be securely in no mans' land.
Good luck to all and as always...
Onward!

Started TGC off last year in CCG and eventually ended up here...... nice to see some familiar names here.... Art, Bovakian and (Riotous.. what is your name on the scoreboard so I can check your scores).... good luck guys... Good course to start of with, winner of the CC design comp, the fairway sculpting on this one is amazing.

Looking forward to the competition Sam

66/65/67/68 -18 under pretty consistent scoring I just wish I could putt. I can’t decide if that’s going to give me my fourth strike in a row, I know strikes reset at the start of the season but this would be be my fourth tournament in a row I’ve got a strike or two 🥴. Plus side I used Master Clubs all 4 rounds not that it’s done me any good, instead of making it easier to promote by using Master Clubs on Xbox it should be harder to get a strike. Just my opinion.

My understanding is that the new season is a fresh slate, no marks carried over. However my inconsistency has carried over, -5 in Rd 3, hit lots of greens just couldn’t get close to the hole, tough pin locations in that wind with the firm conditions. Went straight out for Rd 4, started well, missed a couple of swings but finished -9, which felt like a better than average round in the wind. Round three will have sunk my chances of a high finish. Good shooting

I’m keeping track of how many shots “I left on the course” since everybody always say “I left so many out there”
I did this for a while last year and the average was about 3. Anytime I miss a putt that was going in but didn’t gets a black mark. The goal is to hopefully see the average drop through the year.
So far in 2 rounds I have 6. I had a round last year with 7

No - that is all skill! Just like gambling - you never remember the lucky shots - only the unlucky

COMPLIMENTS!
1. to the designer, Dan Griffith for making a very enjoyable Links style course which I'm not a fan of but this one was excellent 2. The tour Course coordinator for picking this course 3. to whoever sets weather conditions as the winds slowly turned each day as the weather system move past and a (whether designed or not) - winds from the east fish bite the least.
Ended -25 even with the worst round being #1
BTW - left 8 strokes "out there" in 4 rounds - the most was round 1 getting used to the greens.
