After months of forced absence, this week i wish (and i should) to restart to play the tour. I scored -10 in a fast practice round checking the course (11 birdies, 1 bogey) that is not too bad with master clubs. We'll see. Good luck everyone!! Why forced? Is that COVID19 related? Forums will be much better with you back. Hope you and your loved ones are well. Better i don't know..it will be more verbose, for sure!! No no, mate..i'm totally fine and i was fine also in those months of absence. I was just forced, at the end of October more or less, to leave my town (and my home with my pc inside) for a new work. Then, a pair of months ago i finally decided that my job was good enough to keep my pc at my new home..and obviously, a pair of weeks later, i lost my job and my new home cause the virus (being a bartender, i lost my job immediately when the epidemy spreaded, almost 2 months ago) and so i returned in my old town and home almost a month ago. And probably i'll stay here until the situation will not return a bit normal..then i don't know. I suppose i'll find another work in another town and everything will start again..the best thing of my work is that i can do it actually everywhere..so i'm not too concerned about it. If possible, i really wish to come back to Palermo..but is really not the moment to make too many plans..so i'll just wait and see. Thank you, anyway. And you? You and your family are everybody fine? Your daughter is still in Milan?

All our friends and family are healthy, our daughter is still in Milan entering week 9 of quarantine, thanks so much for remembering. Her health and spirits are fine, working hard every day teaching her kids at a distance which sounds very challenging to me. My brother is like you and lost his job immediately when they closed all bars and restaurants as he is a karaoke DJ. He REALLY needs to get back to work, he is really suffering financially. Now get back on TGCT and kick some pixel golf butt! Onward!

Now get back on TGCT and kick some pixel golf butt! Onward! I perfectly understand your brother's situation. I'm sure your daughter already told you that here we are going to restart a "normal" life, they says in tv by some day..3 of May the quarantine should be declared finished. I don't know. Or..to better say..i KNOW is still to soon to come back to a normal life..but i also KNOW that is simply impossible to continue to stay at home without working. Is a really sh!tty situation..and we are forced, in short, to choose between our health and our money. Is absurd. I'm happy to hear that your daughter is a teacher. Schools probably (surely, i think) will restart only (and maybe) in September. At least she can work without need to risk to much, even cause Milan and all the region is actually the one with the worst situation in terms of new contages. My daughter is doing school via internet too and my mom also is a teacher. As you probably know..we are not exactly a young pooulation full of technology's experts..and this thing of doing lessons in streaming offers every day very, very funny scenes. Anyway..i'm sure everything will be fine for youe daughter, but as already said months ago..if for some reason she should ever have need of some help, every kind of help, you just tell me what the problem is..and in some way i'll find some friend who will help, if i couldn't give her some help directly. As a father, must be uneasy to deal with this situation. So..just remember you and your family have a friend here. We'll see on the course, at 19th hole for a drink (maybe a couple, of drinks )

And then my comeback to the competitions starts with a -13. I'm really satisfied, my goal was to reach -10,the course is definitely really, really easy and totally playable even with high wind (except the hole with 1 of SI, in which honestly i can't understand what side of the fairway i should to aim to have a more or less clean 2nd shot with this wind, but well, i'll try again in the second round..). Is also a pretty good looking course, a design really interesting. And a pair of holes, with thus wind, offers some really interesting strategic decision to make. About my round, it seems slowly i'm finding again some confidence with the game and, most important thing, with the putt, that is the thing i noticed i lost the most (dramatically, in the first 2/3 weeks, i simply was unable to give the right strenght to the ball..i mean by dozens of feet!) after these months of inactivity. I'm not sure, but i believe i ended the round with no more than 21 putts..in a bogey free round. Consistent on birdie chance (i miss maybe only one of them) and with a pair of saves for par really, really satisfying. Also the swing worked pretty well, straight enough (for my Master Clubs standard) and with just a pair of Slow downswing, but one of them has been only my fault. Is an encouraging score, but i learned pretty well that things can change immediately, so...i'll try to stay focused for the next rounds. Good luck, guys!

Boys, this is a week to go LOW. Oh my. -14 -16 -11 -12 Total -53 I had a few bogies and couldn’t birdie #2 a single round even though it is a pretty straightforward hole. I predict the winner will be in the -60s Well, here we are at the halfway mark and -30 has bought me a 3 stroke lead for these last two rounds where I didn’t go as low. Still don’t think I’ll hold on for the win, but I’ll be sweating the scoreboard hoping it squeezes by!

I have no checked standings (i don't know also what is the CC-A field, right now ) so i don't know the situation, but your last 2 rounds are not bad at all..and your -53 is in any case a great score. It means at least to score better than a -13 every round, to beat it..and is absolutely not easy to be so much consistent through 4 rounds..even considering the course is so easy. I'm not so sure you can't win, at all. Good luck, anyway!! (Side question...do you know if the tournament ends always at the same day and time as before?)

-11 in the second round, -24 total. Satisfied, especially cause i did a lot of little errors : 3-4 slow and a pair of fast downswings (always my fault, no random), a bunch of putts for birdie long or short by inches..and above all, most fastidious thing, a couple of unusual wrong choices from the tee, too riskful, very stupid. What "saved" my round has been the 2 eagles, a swing that continues to work quite well, straight and smooth..and a putt not perfect but still consistent and hot when it matters, proofs are 2 beautiful long par saves with my putt for another bogey free round.
As usual i'll wait the end of my third round to check the standings, but i suppose that my first target (to avoid red marks) could be reached. But, if i want some prize more, i must play a bit better in the last 2 rounds. We'll see.
P.S. : it should be mandatory on this Tour to ask every designer to eliminate markers (and every object) from the center of the fairways when a course must be used on Tour. A well centered tee shot that deviates so much (especially on a course full of trees like this) or that ends in a fairway bunker (or worst) cause it was TOO MUCH perfectly centered is simply not acceptable.

-10 in the third round..-34 total. Not so much to say. A wasted chance for something good. Awful in the approaches (77% GIR), good but not exceptional with putt..in a round with conditions really good, if not perfect, for a very better score. Furthermore it was one of those rounds in which you miss the right spot by a couple of inches, but you miss it in the worst side, so the ball goes away by feet. A lot of feet..and well. That's it. Then i finally checked the standings. Quite incredibly i'm just a stroke far away from a green mark, but of course i should need a super 4th round cause we are more or less 30 Master Club players for 15 spots. (and..sorry jwtexan, i'm afraid that 54 in the third round could be a serious obstacle for your win but who knows..good luck!)

Just promoted to CC-A but afraid I might be back down to B soon with the fast track demotion. Haven’t started the tournament yet because I am playing so bad right now. Might have to tap out and go back to pro clubs just to have a chance at the top 100 haha.

Last round -13, total -47. Is way better than my initial target and my hopes, as a first tournament is a very good performance, after all..also considering i can't spend the time i wish to prepare properly every round, in these days. Furthermore, at the moment i'm tied in the 21th place (11th Master Clubs spot) that would mean a promo mark and my -13 is a good tiebraker..but there are still a bunch of players who could steal the position. Anyway..i can't complain and next week course looks really interesting from the pics. Good week end, guys!!
