It's the people that are friendly to each other and enjoy the community. Maybe in some ways it can appear cliquish, but as with any old group of friends, there are moments of inside jokes or ball-busting or "hey let's invite so-and-so to participate" Just my perspective, but those calling out an "in" group aren't generally friendly. They tend to be drama queens or just argue all the time. These are the keyboard warriors that "tell it like it is" and are "not going to back down." They hijack threads with accusations or conspiracy theories. They refresh pages over and over waiting for responses to what they think is unflappable logic. They are kind of rude but don't really care. Sometimes they cross lines and get banned. Other times they just hang around as a nuisance claiming we all just don't get their point. They wake up every day wondering what they can get angry about instead of how they can contribute. I'll get blasted for posting this because I am using generalizations (on purpose). It's difficult not to get sucked into their tripe. But, like with real life, you just learn to accept that any large group of people is going to have different views and approaches. Nothing new. That's really "generalized", when you're basically talking about me lol. Perfect example of this passive aggressive, clever wording so you can hide behind it as "no I wasn't talking about you". I don't sit here and refresh the page, hence why it's 2pm the next day and I'm just seeing this. As for "keyboard warrior", I would say any of this, to anyone, face to face. I don't need a keyboard to tell it like it is. Ironically I can see those who use passive aggressive statements as being the actual keyboard warrior, becauae I can tell by the way you act, that you would be quiet as a church mouse in real life. Generalized because I was lumping in others who have taken the same route as you. But you are 100% correct the post was pointed at your recent behavior. And of course you make big bold claims about how you'd be up in someone's face in real life and poor little me would whimper and run away. What I can see is you are a sore loser, a poor sport, and have a warped since of self worth. I'll play wherever I feel like playing on this tour and will talk about my rounds in any way I want. Nothing you say will change that. You can continue to stir up sh%$ with conspiracy theories and unfounded accusations. Eventually you'll get banned like the rest of the keyboard warriors.

i never even said i would be up in peoples faces, or that others would whimper and run away lol. do you even read? i said i am not a keyboard warrior because i would, and do, the exact same in real life. and the ones doing the passive bs would do the same in real life. use little quips and sarcasm to instigate, and then act all shocked when it back fires, like "whaaaaa i never said or did that". i say what i want, when i want, how i want. i call it like i see it, in my opinion, and thats that. this started as a joke between shane and i, and has warped into some kind of chest beating contest for no reason. and if you want the courtesy of playing wherever, talking however, then people like me have the same courtesy. but my conspiracies, as you call them, gain some traction when everyone rushes here to circle jerk over one persons opinions. people try to call me out for bashing my opinion into the ground until people agree, when they are doing the exact same s**t. and not just one person, but 5 or 6 different people. is that what it takes to disprove one person? i mean how defensive can you get over one sore losers conspiracy driven opinions? at the end of the day, the ones getting defensive are the ones with the guilty conscience here. so, call it what you want. ill leave you guys to play with each other.
have a nice day.

Take a deep breath man, that was just one giant run-on sentence that makes no sense. I've read it three times now and can't follow your logic. I'll quit replying to you so we can put it behind and just move on. Don't think this is going anywhere. Keep beating your drum though - seems to be working. Is it too late to re-vote for member of the year?

ah the old take a deep breath, you are mad routine. should have seen it coming. i mean everyone knows run on sentences have punctuation in them right? this wasnt going anywhere from the start, since it was a joke between me and one other person. but people think they are going to write their little quips and not be replied to. sorry if thats the world you live in. oops was this a run on sentence as well? is it hard to read more than 4 words at once?

Just because I’ve chosen to stay away from you guys doesn’t mean I won’t respond as required. I have never and will never hide who I am. It’s cowardly, like only saying what you want snidely, hey John?
Maybe if you all didn’t jump in when one of your mates was in an argument there would be less accusations about ‘cool kids.
Just an observation, as you were - it’s going great 👌🏻

Round 2 ate me up, specifically the pin in 14. Took a double there and just couldn’t get anything going after that.
A tale of two rounds -14 and -6. Blah.

OK fellas, I think we've about beat this topic straight to the glue factory. Tott has every right to express his opinions, which he did, and those who see things differently have had every right to retort. Let's just remember to keep everything above board here and not start sniping at and name-calling one another. At the end of the day, regardless of which side of the debate you take up, no one deserves to feel intimidated or unwelcomed here because of things said directly toward them. I feel like the conversation, on both sides, has started to degrade in that direction over the past 8-12 hours. The final thing I'll say on this, is what one may see as an in crowd, I'd like to view as a big, inclusive community but -- and I've seen it in a number of instances over the years -- the Golden Rule goes along way: Do onto others as you would like done onto you. In my experience, those who are chill, respectful and ask thoughtful questions of those who've been around here for a while are met with the same common courtesy. It's typically when the tone is combative and confrontational that the favor is returned and things go downhill. That's all I've got. Respect one another and have fun. At the end of the day we're on a message board about a virtual golf game. While it's something that we hold a passion for and a a common interest in, there are much more important things to stress out over in the grand scheme of things. Oh and HeMan1202, thanks for talking about the golf ... and I can really emphasize with falling off the truck in round 2. Hopefully you rebound better than I did! Happy golfing, everyone!

Pps btw I saw several posts on rd 3, in all honesty I didn’t find it to be that bad at all, play smart and you’ll have opportunities!

Pps btw I saw several posts on rd 3, in all honesty I didn’t find it to be that bad at all, play smart and you’ll have opportunities! Agreed, Rd3 felt easiest to me because my distances lined up well. I felt like I had the wrong clubs most of the tournament with exception of Rd3. Much easier to score with 5-10 foot putts rather than 20-30.

Agreed, Rd3 felt easiest to me because my distances lined up well. I felt like I had the wrong clubs most of the tournament with exception of Rd3. Much easier to score with 5-10 foot putts rather than 20-30. Double agreed. In R3, if you hit a good golf shot you were rewarded with a nice putt, while bad shots punished you. Also, the wind in R3 made it easy to have eagle putts on the b9 par 5s. I actually found R2/R4 to be the most difficult, because you had to zone most shots (pin's not accessible), which left medium-long putts. There was also some 18mph gust in R4 making it a weeee bit more challenging (for me). I found this a bit curious, because in my R4 practice the default winds were in the 5-9 range.
For anyone interested, here is some practice holes for R4 front 9.

Another 65 for round 4, leaving me at -33, that might just keep me in the top 15….The last two rounds beat me up a bit although I had a very satisfying eagle, birdie, birdie finish to the tournament. I still have much to learn but I will get there. I’m already trying out some new things I picked up from watching the BCT Cup streams of mayday_golf83 yaters VctryLnSprts toddfather and they seem to be working, as I honestly think my score would be half of what it is for this course otherwise. When all said and done I’m pleased with my start to the season. Well done to everyone who played, and I’m gonna stick my neck out and say congratulations to cseanny for the win…..exceptional scoring.
