Well, after a remarkable run of form at the back end of last season, despite averaging 2 DQ's a week since the US Open, The Northern Trust was clean ( ) and the BMW / Eliminated Inv #1 had no removals of scores too... A massive pat on the back to almost everybody. I thought we were going to make it 3 weeks on the spin, until a late "Sayonara" in the Eliminated Inv #2 confirmed that we hadn't actually slipped into an alternate universe Anyhow - New season, and we're back to form with a bang! 2 up already! Not able to be considered in any way diplomatic, we've had a strong statement from a past master who seems to be confidently pressing his claim to be a 2020 contender, plus a relative newcomer to the scene, potentially looking to cause an upset this season coming from rear field. Stay tuned throughout the series for regular scandal and capers... API Factor - 2020!!!! These guys that swear they don't get a competitive advantage show us a stream of your rounds that got hit by the API Diplomats780 . I think this is your 3rd time this has now happened. The proof is in the pudding. How can you tell who gets hit by the API?

I check the leaderboards and when someone disappears I notice... itβs easy when the same people keep disappearing π¦ΈββοΈ

If this is the 4th overall time then no......unless he stops playing, then yes. Probably get a top 10 next week by doing nothing different, but not getting pulled.

Shot a mediocre at best -9 in the first round. I struggle hardcore for whatever reason on moderate green speeds. I'd much rather putt on very fast than moderate and I have no idea why. However, that being said, I salvaged a -9 even fighting some tempo issues. So I think I'm in good position to make the cut and hopefully be in the top 25 after 2 rounds is the hope. Also would like to be T25 or better for the tournament if possible. Good luck to everyone still firing away out there!

I'm with ya there... I felt very firm 187s made the course a little bit of a circus. 15 foot putts that are 6" down hill, might as well play the lottery... Just happy to break -40 with as limited of playing time I give this game from when I actually cared and felt it had an equal balance in TGC2. Think I might just keep you in my crosshairs as a "rival" to beat so that I have something engaging to go for on a weekly basis, seems we've had similar trajectories since rising through the ranks in TGC2/early in TGC19 - remember the Ryder Cup? That was fun (suck it Euro's... ) Anyway, I wonder what the default speed was around here, seems like it was something designed to mostly play in-between the settings we actually used, with the ability to ramp things up for a stiff challenge for a round. I hardcore struggled to keep the ball on the green with my slight-lofting abilities in rounds 2 and 4 with vf/vf/vf settings, and had a few putts that were either "all or nothing" or lags for par based on the speed. Anyway, basically played like sh%$ aside from round 1 and a few holes in round 3, with my 4 rounds of 57/66/59/65 leave me at an astoundingly mediocre -33...so score 1 for you this week.

Not picked up a club since the final event last season, so was expecting to be a rusty - and so it proved with a middling -8 for R1. R2 started off even worse, with my first triple bogey on tour π₯ +3 after 3, so pretty happy to have kept my head and claw it back to another -8.
-16 will be just inside the cut by 1 or 2 shots... because that's where I exist. Anyone -15 or better can rest easy.
Decent course, tho round 2 pin placements were a touch nasty for 187... but overall nice to be back at it.
Good flicking π luck to those with rounds to play.

I think I should be good at -15 (not 100% sure, but I am more optimistic than pessimistic at that score).
Anyways, I finished up. R3 is the scoring round of the weekend. -11 here. Got my second eagle at the drivable 16th hole this week!
The last round I was playing the firm conditions well to start out. Sitting at -6 through 9 holes. Unfortunately I could only scrape even par over the back nine and finish up at -6. Leaves me -32 for the event and sitting with the middling folks.
Good luck to those with rounds yet to play and to those yet to start!
