I'm 43 years old but in my mind I'm still in my 20's. On the night I was born the Sex Pistols played their first ever gig, and on the same day 88 years prior to that Glasgow Celtic FC were formed.

Is everyone under 18 still playing fortnite? Or is that not the cool thing anymore? I can't keep up with the hot new trends of kiddos and I'm only 26. Yikes. I'm in the over 50 category, and I still play fortnite. I'm over 60 and have NEVER seen Fortnite being played. Even my grandson says he never had the urge and he is a teenager. But he loves his COD

What it was the first gig ever of Sex Pistols? Pretty Vacant? Or Watcha Gonna Do About It? Or another one? I had always been curious about this. (anyway, not bad as a reference for a birthday! Definitely )

They played a few covers and their own song 'Seventeen', yeah it's cool to share your birthday with an event like this.

42 and never liked COD after COD 4. Too arcade for me. Played Fortnite once or twice not my thing. Always liked sim games going back to Socom. That game was so far ahead of it's time . Online was probably the most fun I ever had. PUBG is good but can be really stressful and frustrating.

Wow..Adam Ant..consider that Post-punk and New Wave (although I don't appreciate generally any idea to limit a group in a genre, but sometimes is useful to have a basic idea about something) is definitely, with hard rock of '60/'70, the music that probably influenced the most my whole life. Ant influenced enormously the style (about dressing and haircuts) of those years. At least here in Italy. All the most important artists of that time followed him. A great. Is funny that Malcolm McLaren (that son of a beach ) after becoming the manager of the first mark of the Adam and the Ants, decided to defenestrate him to pick a woman as a singer (sh!t..i don't remember the name right now) to create the Bow Wow Wow..other group I like.. Music is simply everything. And..i always been curious about how could be England in those years..end of '70s.. Do you know, one of the most absurd thing for me is that in those years, while the punk was exploding and dominated the scene..a bunch of guys created the Iron Maiden. And their first two album, with Di Anno as singer, for me are the perfect union between metal and punk (and I'm fully aware of how much it sounds absolutely outrageous, but..the music never lies). An unbelievable contamination. But the discussion about music is simply endless..thankful to god for this. I decided in these days to start some kind of rubric about music on my "blog" here. It will be fun for me, to talk about the most important thing of my life and a great passion as golf is for me, now..

I honestly don't think a lot of people realize how much there is in Fortnite. They only see the Battle Royale part that their kids play, and think thats it.
The game actually has three different options.
There is a Creative side, where you just design maps. Like people designing courses here, there are a lot of people that love to design stuff, whether or not they play it. I personally haven't tried much in that, but it seems like it has a lot of tools.
The other side is a single player story mode, and thats what I play 90% of the time. It can be a bit grindy and arcadey, but the writing and voice acting are top notch, better than a lot of games out there.
I only jump in the BR mode once in a while, and even then, I don't play the usual mode of that that everyone just assumes is all of fortnite. I play the large team mode, where you play 20 vs 20 people, and just play to 100 eliminations, and respawn. Its way more fun than the last man standing. They have quests and stuff to do in that mode, so if you can run around and explore and do quests if you want.
Gotta hand it to them, they are one of the most innovative companies out there, they are constantly changing their game rules and coming up with new ways to have fun.
But yeah, I'm over 50, about ready to cross over that magic 55 mark, and I play tons of games. Always been a gamer, since I was a kid. I play BR games, racing games, MMO's, sports games, single player games, story games, turn based games, etc, etc, and the list goes on. Unlike a lot of people, I dont' limit myself to one genre, or just a few games. My favorite genres are single player roleplaying story games, or strategic turn based games. Last night I went to my son's house and hung out with him and a bunch of his friends, playing Magic The Gathering (card/strategy game) till all hours of the night/morning.
Growing old does not have to be boring.

All those games will keep your brain young! No dementia for you! Keep going, don’t let any of your circle of friends belittle for it ( except for Fortnite lol)

60 here. I watch my son play fortnite. He says it is becoming obsolete, at least to him and his friends. Too much jumping, spinning, and flipping for me to enjoy lol.
