LEFTY79NFL Week 8 Jaguars vs Steelers  Coming off a wild win last week the Jags looked to keep the momentum going for once this season.  In a shift in strategy Coach Bing decided to play it a little more conservatively knowing that the team only needed a couple things to fall their way to pull out the win this week as long as they didn’t make any silly mistakes. However the offense was a but too conservative in the opening half literally struggling to finish at the goal line on multiple drives. The second half proved to be more of the same. While the offense was able to punch it in a couple times, an intentional grounding penalty  in the 3rd quarter killed a drive that would’ve lead to at least a FG and then Coach Bing watched as the Hail Mary fell hopelessly to the ground securing the defeat  Could not buy a putt in this one 😂. Sorry I forgot to switch it to Stableford this week Yeah, My Steel Curtain course showed its teeth. I wanted my home games to be a little lower scoring but very nice try and GG my man. |

Bengals at 49ers (or 49res for our European brethren) Bogey Bonocore LEFTY79 The Bengals are fresh off the bye and travel to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  Hmmm… next thing you’ll have me believe is the New York Giants and New York Jets play in New Jersey.   St. Louis? San Diego?  Well, sh%$. Anyway, the Bengals went somewhere not called San Francisco to play the “San Francisco” 49ers. Needless to say, they scored some points. Note that the team manager failed to capture the final scorecard and had to play the ghost of the actual game…  …surprisingly having no ill effects on his handicap. No penalties, no 2-point conversions, but a welcome Hail Mary in the first half. Back to you, Lefty  |

Week 9 Titans @ Steelers Had a glance at the Steelers record before kicking off. Shouldn't have!! Despite the odds being stacked against us the Tanz encouraged the team onto the pitch to at least have a go. And he was pretty happy with this effort despite the inability to make a play for most of the 1st half but it's likely to be woefully short of what Pat's pat2020 Steelers lay down on their home track. Only blemish being an over enthusiastic throw (chip) trying to nail a Hail Mary on the final play. Recording uploading to YouTube as we speak and will be loaded to Discord shortly

LEFTY79 InsanericKWeek 9 Arizona visiting Cleveland. Played live with Erick, was our first time playing and chatting together and was a most enjoyable round. Leaving the scoring for The Commish, but I think an upset may have occurred. Cards played a clean second have and the rookie QB Tune tossed a Hail Mary to boot!  Onward Cards!

Cincinnati Bengals hosting Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Primetime Loftyando LEFTY79 Always a highlight matchup between these two teams who have developed a deep rivalry that always has playoff implications.  Joe “Sheisty” Burrow, his injured calf fully healed, came out firing, leading his Bengals offense to a flawless first half, both penalty and turnover free.  Buffalo had no answer for the potent Bengals offense, and the Cincy defense did enough to keep the Bills at bay.  Hail Mary passes at the end of both halves for the Bengals served as a microcosm for just how one-sided this match up was, surprising the experts who projected a much closer game.  Cincinnati 27 Buffalo 23  Great match, Leon! Seemed that you couldn’t quite get yourself untracked, and I got pretty lucky playing a clean first half to take advantage of my tier placement. Another Lefty special for me! Best of luck moving forward, my Casuals Comrade! 🍻 |

Week 10 Buccaneers @ TITANSSteady first half by the Titans but then the Tanzanator fluffed the hail murphy attempt overthrowing his catcher in the try zone. Second half was a bit ropey to start with with an early sacking of the Tanzman but fortunately woke up and finished strong. Lovely home track from zooby97Enough? We'll see. Always tricky giving away a couple of points on the handicap system and did myself a bit of damage on the pens. Recording uploading to YouTube as we speak and will appear on Discord as soon as. Week 9 Falcons visiting Cardinals and the host were most hospitable. AZ had penalties galore but did manage a Hail Murray in Kyler's return to action. All for naught I'm afraid and ATL played like the division leaders that they are. GG Sean @prowse really enjoyed the game and chat.  |

LEFTY79NFL Week 10 49ers vs Jaguars  Coming off a bye week the team should’ve been better rested and prepared for a home game against the Niners. However the team continues to baffle Coach Bing, especially at home.  One would think there would be an advantage to knowing the field and how it reacts but it would seem that knowledge has become a bit of a hinderance to the team as they came out flat in the first half in what is becoming a growing theme for the season.  With Coach Bing starting to run out of ways to motivate his team at the half not much was said in the locker room.  The team came out better to start the second half but still couldn’t get much done against the stout Niners defense. Will have to see how the defense holds up against Shanahan’s offense and if the second half effort will be enough
