Couldn’t recover. Nice win, and well played by you.

In the month of November, the NFL pays tribute to the unsung heroes of the American armed forces. This recap will pay tribute and recognize some of the teams and owners in the NFL Stableford League that may not receive the headlines, but exemplify the qualities that make the League what it is today. First, congratulations to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ( artb ) on earning their first win in the NFL Stableford League. Even though it was under less than ideal circumstances for the League, a win is a win. The Buccaneers effort each week is to be commended and hopefully more wins are on the horizon. Second, in recognition of a comeback story, the Cleveland Browns ( xEB50x ) have quietly begun to put some wins together and now find themselves “In The Hunt” in the AFC Playoff Picture. Earlier this season, the Browns ownership situation was in flux as the team struggled out of the gate. But now the ship has seemingly been righted and the results are beginning to show in the standings. Finally, the League wishes to recognize the Oakland Raiders owner, JosiaDB , who at the beginning of the season was an interim owner in the League. Through perseverance, persistence, and a bit of luck, he eventually worked his way into becoming a permanent owner in the NFL Stableford League. With the team ownership opportunities currently available in the League, it is owners with the qualities previously recognized that the League hopes to attract going forward. Now on to the Week 12 preview. First, the NFL Stableford Game of the Week is an inter-conference battle that features the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens ( BENNY6676 ), looking to rebound from a tough loss last week to the Houston Texans ( nick80 ), as they fly west to L.A. to take on the one-loss NFC West-leading Rams ( CGib2 ). The Rams were knocked from the unbeaten ranks by the Chicago Bears ( wadey1801 ), who gutted out an epic win on the road to grab the #1 seed in the NFC. Next, in a game that could decide an AFC playoff tiebreaker, two division-leading teams collide in Orchard Park as the Denver Broncos ( rob4590 ) battle the Buffalo Bills ( Coniglio ). Finally, to cap off the week, the Dallas Cowboys, ( mhead293 ) who just experienced their first loss at the hands of the Detroit Lions ( jhendricks316 ), travel to Foxborough to clash with the AFC playoff hopeful New England Patriots ( moneyman273 ). Good luck to all teams in Week 12!

Bucs @ Falcons - 22/22 Really annoyed at three putting on both 7 and 16 after having a flop in for my second shot, but got greedy with my birdie putts. Can't complain too much though - otherwise it was the best I've putted, making bombs on 10 and 13 for birdie. Pretty happy with those numbers - it's not playing easy!

Well thank goodness Cincy hadn't come under league control yet. LOL I thought if they didn't play I was going to end up losing in OT to a bot.
I was thinking about me, and Cincy, and Tampa, and those of us who really love playing this format, but just aren't very good. I got to thinking about the real NFL and how the teams that aren't good, have the opportunity to turn it around because they get high draft picks. I started thinking how cool it would be if we could somehow incorporate something like that, involving the draft, into this league.
What if you establish a "draft order" after the season is up? Then, next season, you could apply some type of handicap to the teams that have higher draft picks, to help the teams that aren't as good to compete. Like, and this is JUST an example, but like, the first overall pick would get 8 points applied to his front nine and his back nine next season. The second pick would get 8 to one, and 7.5 pts to the other, his choice. and so on and so on down the line, until the 32nd pick would get 0.
- OR, you could give a total number of points to each pick, from 32 to nothing, and next season each person could just choose to apply points out of their pool when they wanted. Like, if I had 16 points available, this game, I could say my score is 18+4/17+5 for a 22/44 and I have 9 left to use. - OR, you could give points all the way down the line, for all 7 rounds, to the pool, and let us trade picks.
Like I said, its just a couple ideas I had, that would help competition and maybe keep those that don't do so good from dropping out. Because the only way you would get to be a part of this, would be if you played the prior season, and didn't forfeit any games without good reason, or a heads up to the league as to why.
Then again, I think something along these lines would be fun for all of us who love the NFL, and I'm certain we could help keep up with it.

After a 2nd defeat of the season, going to play away at The Rams against CGib2 isn't really the match you want but as wadey1801's awesome performance showed us this week, the machine can be beaten. I will stream the match from my side regardless, unless The Rams are able to play live, as I would happily put my PS4 on for a game?

Art Bruce Bucs V Saints Greenstone River 39 pts another lost . Good effort on the back nine though. Eagled both par fives... Jeez - I thought I made them difficult! Honestly, so much of this course is about picking the right lines off the tee, so I definitely have an advantage there. We'll meet again at your place and see how that goes
