As we come to the NFC Championship game, we can't help but think back of the happenings of the Stableford League year and it's ability to keep folks interested, encouraged, and participants fully engaged in healthy banter, wisecracks, and even a little bit of small talk. It all comes down to a very enjoyable season run by a very committed gentlemen "Lefty79" our commish. who put his heart and soul into this league for many seasons with professionalism, integrity, and even played a little bit of golf too!! Thank you Tyler! Ah, to the contest, coming into town after TWO straight wins at home in the Wild Card and Divisional rounds it's the very dangerous Minnesota Vikings led by their coach Andrew along with their "rich" heritage that comes with them. The Vikings started as an expansion team way back in 1960 and BOAST the the highest regular season and combined winning percentage among NFL franchises who have not won a Super Bowl, now I'm scared, they are on a mission!!! Welcome to Met Life Stadium and good luck as we duel, which could be a bad thing with a Viking (and the Scandinavian Americans) in tow. Let the game begin! An adequate start in the first half for the GMEN, nothing to write home about OR to please their new GM Joe Schoen, but they ventured forward hoping for a salvageable second half and TRY to avoid elimination. The GMEN put up a score, but with the way the Vikes have been scoring, it could be a mute point and a stepping stone to the Super Bowl. All that's left is to go to the Shrine an "pray without ceasing" and wait for my "friend" to complete his round!! Remember Andrew, “The only way to prove that you’re a good sport is to lose.” I'll keep this in mind also.........lol. Good Luck Brother!!!! www.mediafire.com/view/v2sekcrqwmv2rhc/Andrew.jpg/fileI'll do my best to disappoint! 🤣🤣🤣 I was hoping to get my round in on Sunday but the conditions weren't updated before I had to jet, so I may not get back to it until Saturday. Great round by the way! Thanks Andrew!!

NFC Championship Game Congratulations to Tagrocket on two things this week, first and foremost the amazing round and victory that propels him into the Superbowl. Well done! By the second thing he's done and amazing job of is home course selection. I'm embarrassed to admit just how many rounds I played on this course this week (avoiding the assigned pin of course!) and this course wears me out. And my game round today was no exception, just a pitiful showing. If I never have to play here again it will be too soon 😉 but I expect we may see each other next year again! Good luck in the big game my friend, well deserved!

Honestly thought you might put one together here, as watching you play last week against Jason (Crushtastic) your tempo was "spot" on, and obviously on "Starlight Lake" it takes good tempo. Never the less, appreciate you and look forward to March Madness and next time we meet my friend.

It has been quite the memorable season for the Bengals and their devoted fans after what seemed like an eternity of them being relevant. Making the AFC Championship for the first time in over 30 years is quite the accomplishment for a team that had little expectations coming into the season. However, they didn't want this to be their final game of the season. The Dolphins looked like the '72 team of old with the way they played this game, and really most of the season. As expected the defense was non-existent at home so it all fell onto Joe's shoulders to win this dogfight. The first quarter was practically flawless but then a couple moments of fatigue and pressure crept in before the half. The 3rd quarter again started flawlessly and right when it looked like the Bengals were going to take their first lead a couple more nervy moments popped up. The season looked to be in jeopardy but with one sudden move Ja'marr was able to break away and get them right back where they wanted to be. A strong finish led to the scoring being tied at the end of regulation. With both defenses exhausted it looked like another game where whoever won the OT coin toss would win the game. If my interpretation of the rules is correct it looks as though the Bengals were the beneficiaries in OT but I will let the commish make the final ruling. Either way great game and season kadeo!

To kadeo and awmacv, you played excellent Stableford all season long and congratulations on the fine seasons you both had. As a great man once said…. Onward….to the Super Bowl! You finally make it, to the pinnacle of the football season, (arguably) the most prestigious sporting event in the world, what can you say to help your team play it's best and maybe earn the title of Super Bowl Champions? Well, these are two very storied franchises that go back a number of years, the Cincinnati Bengals founded by Paul Brown a great innovator and head coach made their way to the NFL in the 1960's and the GMEN, founded by Tim Mara, started way back in 1925. That's great history, but the reason these two teams are here is because they earned it during the season. Difficult wins over very formidable teams and owners all season long earned each team a shot to bring home the Lombardi Trophy and the accolades that go with it. The Bengals (led by their coach (Jason-FutureBuckeye-11), didn't make it here because he is just another pretty face, he scored the most points in the league and the Giants, because of their defense (thanks to Starlight Lake) was one of the two best defenses in the league. That sets the stage scoring vs. defense it's a coin flip. Oh yeah, back to what you say to a team preparing for the biggest game of the year? Don't forget how you got there in the first place. "It's another game. You line up, game day, the Super Bowl, and the game starts just like all the other 17 games do: somebody's gonna kick it off, and then you gotta go play." That is pretty much it, until you see where you are playing, and it was a great pick for the Super Bowl, very difficult but fair (wish it was Starlight Lake lol), The Giants received the kick off and fumbled the kick, along with a pick in the second quarter limited the scoring in the first half. With the game on the line the GMEN played their hearts out but the conditions were very tough and it led to a very pedestrian second half score. We gave it our all, good luck to Jason and the Bengals in this game and the real life Super Bowl!! Appreciate you! www.mediafire.com/view/e8u9s8gqjua7ega/Jason_C.jpg/file

Its been quite the wild ride to end up at this point and have the opportunity to play for the Lombardi Trophy, an honor that has eluded this franchise on 2 occasions. As always in a game of this magnitude the opponent is quite a force of nature, and the Giants are one you can't take lightly...especially with their recent history of memorable Super Bowl performances. With all the talk of the Bengals not being scared of Jalen Ramsey it was fitting that on the first drive of the game Burrow hit Chase on a quick slant which he was able to take to the house after making some impressive jukes and changing direction multiple times (dropped a ridiculous double-breaker eagle on #1). From there things stayed nice and steady per usual for the Bengals offense. It wasn't a touchdown on every drive but we took what we could get out there in a tough environment. Points were able to be scored back and forth and a chance to take an early lead was capitalized on right before halftime. With the Bengals feeling confident on how things were going they came out of the half continuing to click. Another big passing playing to Higgins really put the Giants on their heels (chip in eagle on the drive able par 4). After that, the celebrations in Cincinnati had begun. The Giants put together a great 2nd half but it just wasn't enough to what the Bengals were able to accomplish the first 3 quarters. This was a season to remember for the city of Cincinnati...one can only hope this is a precursor to the real thing next weekend 🤞 TAGROCKET you had a tremendous season and I imagine this won't be the last time we see you in this position. Thanks again for giving us this league Tyler, it's really nice to have something to keep me interested in this game outside of TGCT. Looking forward to March Madness!

Nothing but complete RESPECT for you and your game brother, congratulations!! You may have not noticed over the past years that your scoring during the regular TGC seasons did not escape my eye, and my perception was, your master swing game was spot on and it showed during the regular season AND playoffs in Stableford. Here's to the Lombardi trophy winner in the Stableford league!! Looking forward to March Madness!!

Congratulations to FutureBuckeye11 and the Cincinnati Bengals on winning their first championship in the NFL Stableford League versus TAGROCKET and the New York Giants. Both teams put on an excellent display of skill and sportsmanship, but only one could leave with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. In the words of legendary Bengals founder Paul Brown, “The test of a quarterback is where his team finishes.” In this instance, Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow passed the test with flying colors all season long and now has a Super Bowl ring. This concludes the 2021 NFL Stableford League season. Thank you again to all team owners for making 2021 the best season of NFL Stableford to date!

I really found my groove the back half of the last season and finally started like I could compete with the top guys and I saw the progression in my WGR. Ever since it switched to Pro I haven't had as much interest in it and my performances on that tour have definitely been slipping. Thank god for this society lol
