Thanks gents, they don’t make it easy do they! And presumably some teams will have an easier fixture list than others Oh ya for sure, its all kind of luck of the draw. There's a statistic called "strength of schedule" that looks at the win percentage from the previous season of all the teams you face that coming season which gives people a rough idea of who has an "easy" schedule vs a tougher one.

Texans Week 2 After their victory last week, the Texans went into training this week with a renewed confidence, however during the pre game warm-up, the coach could sense that something was just off. .. catches being dropped, the O-Line looking sluggish, the kicker couldn't find his lucky socks .... A rather stale 1st half with very little to cheer about, a TD at the start of the 2nd was their only glimmer of hope, sandwiched between 2 fumbles around midfield, leaving the Texans scratching their head thinking what on earth has gone wrong. Then the coaches premonitions came back to haunt him, his fast left tackle took a chop block to his knee and was pulled from the game on the 1st play of the 2nd half, only to be followed on the next possession for the running back to pull his hamstring, causing the 4th fumble of the game, leading to another turnover and more points for the Browns. A late charge with a superb TD reception, followed by the defense getting in on the act and returning a fumble all the way for another TD gave the Texans hope ... which was all but extinguished when they tried for an onside kick, the kicker stubbed his toe ... on the foot that was missing his lucky sock ... causing the ball to just loop nicely into the Browns waiting hands to probably finish off the game in their favour. Texans final score 17 + 4 for being on xbox Total Score = 21 A lot of soul searching and sock finding will be needed before returning home next week against the Panthers Week 2 Texans @ Browns After a tough road loss to the Chiefs in week 1 The Browns were looking to get into the win column against a Texans team riding high after their week 1 W. On the opening possession Baker marched the team down the field and Nick Chubb finished off the drive with an 18 yd td run! Early in the 2nd Quarter the Browns defense got on the scoreboard as Myles Garrett deflected and intercepted a ball at the line of scrimmage which he then rumbled into the endzone for 6 pts! The Texans fought back however with Nico Collins getting his first Nfl TD and then on the very next drive Baker threw a very ugly pass which was taken to the house. After a 3 and out David Johnson caught a swing pass made 1 defender miss and then took it 80 yds to the endzone giving Houston a 21-14 lead Baker would lead his team down the field to the 15 yd line with 5 minutes remaining in the game. The drive stalled after a td run by chubb was called back due to a holding penalty. The browns settled for 3 points. Trailing 17-21 late in the 4th the Defense came up with a big stop after 2 stuffed run attempts and a sack by Myles Garrett gave The browns offense one last shot. With 1 minute left in the game, Mayfield hit Landry on a crossing route at the 50 who shook his defender and took it the rest of the way for a Touchdown sending the cleveland faithful into a frenzy. Final score Browns 24 Texans 21

Week 2 Titans @ SeahawksSeattle was ecstatic with their Week 1 performance but still managed to lose. An inconsistent start this week eventually culminated in clutch drives to end the 3rd and 4th quarters within the confines of their forboding home stadium at Harrier Creek. Switching back and forth between Pro and Masters has been more difficult than I anticipated so regardless of the result I will take that back 9 anytime here. This is not an easy course on Masters so bring your A game!

The Chinatown Raiders were on a high after coming into week 2 as the #1 team in the power rankings.
Unfortunately a cross country trip to Pittsburgh was in their future. The Raiders never seem to play well there but alas the schedule called for it.
We got of to a solid start with back to back 3rd down conversions. Then Carr decided to hit waller on a post that went all the way to the end zone! Unfortunately that play was quickly called back due to holding and the raiders would be forced to punt on their opening drive.
Things pretty much stalled from there on out as the raiders couldn't find their rhythm. 16+3 (19) on the front
Heading into the second half the raiders knew they had to come out firing. A deep shot on the first play of the half came up empty and the raiders were as deflated as Tom's balls
Pittsburgh had the game iced and put in their backups late in the game and the raiders were finally able to put together a scoring drive.
Too little too late though.
We hold our heads up high knowing we will be #1 for a few more nights!

It was a bad start to the weekend when the Titans forgot their jerseys on their way to Seattle and were forced to find a Dick’s in suburban Seattle near the hotel. A couple of three and outs later and they managed to scrounge 20 points on the board thanks to a couple of bombs to Julio Jones and A.J. Brown in the third quarter. Derrick Henry failed to show up once again, however and Tannehill threw a pair of interceptions.

Week 2 LA Chargers First home game of the season and the Chargers couldn't replicate the amazing offensive performance from week 1. I picked a tough course so I can't be too mad about this score. A very quick touchdown on the third play (eagle) was about where the scoring ending. Sorry for posting it in stroke play, that's my bad. By my calc it's 20 on the front and 18 on the back + my handicap of 2 = 22 points 4 2 2 1 2 2 2 3 2 = 20 2 1 2 2 2 3 2 2 2 = 18

Week 2 - Saints at the Panthers The Saints continued their moderate start to the season with plenty of par performances with a couple of moments of magic. A speculative long pass in the dying seconds of the first half was the highlight of an otherwise pretty uninspiring performance. Maybe enough to take us into overtime but maths was never my strong suit.

Hoping I sorted out posting the image this week. 233 222 211 (18) 232 223 333 (23+3=26) Should be 26 points for the Jags this week, like the Jags football team I put up a late rally that has a good chance of falling short.
