Before I post the recap for Week 2, I have a major announcement. I am pleased to announce that, effective immediately, @spartan4knight is now the new owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL Stableford League. With this change, the Steelers will now play their games at Spartan Hills Golf Club. Also, thank you to JosiaDB for subbing for the Steelers for the first two weeks while this ownership situation was being resolved. You will be the new “super sub” I call on if any issues arise. Good luck to all in Week 3! |

With this breaking news, the Arizona Cardinals went straight to the calendar and circled Dec 1st-7th as they see the Pittsburgh Steelers are coming to town. They are already advertising this live clash on Twitch that could have playoff implications late in the season.
Note: The Arizona front office went through the whole schedule and were very disappointed to see that the Pittsburgh game is the only game the rest of the season vs XB1 teams. Therefore, no live play. Only two XB1 match ups over 16 weeks.......They should have taken an AFC team as there are more XB1 teams over there. The owner stated, "It's a bummer"
The Cardinals (1-1) are petitioning the league for a transfer of ownership with any team in the AFC East or North (to face Xb1 owners) regardless of record. Two potential suitors would be Cleveland or Cincinnati, both with 0-2 records However, they are sure the commissioner LEFTY79 will put his foot down and block any moves as he has worked too hard developing the schedule. However, that did not persuade ownership from submitting the petition.

For the purpose of promoting live competition in the NFL Stableford League, the Office of the Commissioner will entertain the transfer of ownership request of the Arizona Cardinals to either the Cleveland ( CoinHen77) or Cincinnati ( snydejake) franchise only. Whichever Ohio franchise owner approves first, prior to the end of the week, will be granted the request. If neither franchise owner wishes to transfer ownership, the request is considered void after Week 3. |

The Cleveland Browns front office has received this proposition and would like to submit an inquiry to the league office. Would the Cleveland Browns ownership, upon taking over the Cardinals need to play on their home course (Denali). Or in a feat of unprecedented imagination and ingenuity, could the two teams bring their home courses with them, lifting heaven and earth to relocate the Cypress Point Club to Arizona for the remainder of the season?
Sorry can't keep talking like that.... how would records be handled?

Since the Steelers were allowed the option of choosing a different course after their ownership change, there is a precedent with franchises changing their home course. Therefore, the Cypress Point Club can be relocated or re-created in Arizona if that is what is desired. |
