Had a great time walking the conclusion of round 3 with gopreds66. Watched Brooks hit some shots and JT have a moment on 16 that most of us are familiar with. Gonna relax for a while and wait for the action to come to 15 green and 16 tee.   |

Just wanted to chime and and say is was great meeting Art. It was really a stroke (pun intended) of luck that I saw this thread. My wife had gotten me tickets and she was going to attend with me, then our babysitter fell through last minute and I couldn't find anyone to go with me on such short notice. I messaged Art to let him know I would be there Saturday and let me know if he wanted to meet. He responded that we definitely should and saved me a seat in the grandstand on the 7th green. Thank God for that because I was in need of a place to sit in the shade. It was hotter than 10 hells on Saturday! We had a few beers and talked PGA golf, TGC Tours golf and our own less than stellar golf games! Found out we were both in "purgatory" of our respective tours and had a good laugh! I really enjoyed walking with Art watching the final groups finish their rounds Sunday morning. This was the 1st pro golf tournament I had attended and it was awesome! I got to see a beautiful course, watch the best players in the world and made a new friend! Big thanks to Art for making the experience that much more enjoyable!!! |
