Typical HB bullshit that I'm getting these last few weeks.
Play first two holes of the event, birdie both, and lining up an 8 foot birdie putt on three.
Internet cuts out.
Game puts me back to 2nd tee.
Lose my sh%$ and speed golf the next 35 holes.
Cheers then.

Shot -21 for my opening 2 rounds and played like utter dogshit. Birdied only 1 of the 4 Par 5's in Round 2. I'm rooting for you that this makes the cut, mainly because that is about where I think my skills will place me if I have a reasonable tourney.
Honestly I should be happy about my T38th spot, best in the PGA this season and I am happy I am moving on for at least one more tourney. Interestingly tho, I am somewhat torn that the fact of whether anyone advances to the next and final tournament is based off their first two rounds instead of all four. I know why it is like that but it does feel odd. If anything that might give me a chance cause I usually can put together at least two good rounds before it all falls to shite.

And those green speeds in Round 2. 169! Never heard of such a thing. Flipping 169! The controller almost went through TV! I almost sh%$ myself and had to do a double take.
I'm not one to normally talk golf in these forums but holy smokes!
amazed astonished astounded awestruck bowled over dumbfounded flabbergasted stunned stupefied thunderstruck!

Very frustrating in R1... finished up -9 but was there thru 14. Stupid bogey up 16 after taking a stupid line off the tee.
Much better R2, bogey and eagle free, but 13 birds takes me to -22 at the cut.
Time for a glass of wine and another evening of pass the baby. Finding a little bit of form just at the right time it seems - it won’t last.
Jack - 30 under at the turn? Crikey!

-13,-14 for a -27 at the cut. Actually hit it well, still missed too many putts. Hoping that makes the cut, hard to tell this early.

Shot-14,-10 for -24 at the cut. Feel like that will make it to the weekend. This season felt like a chore at times to play week in and week out this year so happy to make the final tournament

Well my season is over. Going into this event I kind of figured it would take -44 to end up top 30. So my goal was -25 for the first 36 to leave a cushion for usual more difficult last rounds, fast green speeds harder pin positions in the last 36.
My putter killed me. I could not get anything to fall. And actually missed a 6ft birdie putt in round 1. Shot a garbage -9. Bogie free though. Second round I started out in a zone. I think I was -8 after 10. But could not keep the momentum going and missed another short 8ft putt for birdie. -11. Bogie free again. So -20 halfway.
Decided to go ahead and get it over with. Ended up being more of the same in round 3. Started well, then shite the bed and shot -11. -31 after 3. Still bogie free.
Round 4 the VF greens really ratcheted up the difficulty along with a couple of interesting pin positions. I just didn’t have it in me to get good. Limped home with a -8 with one or two bogies. -39 and likely a finish somewhere around 40-50th.
Good luck all. See you for I am sure another drama filled season 6...

-13,-14 for a -27 at the cut. Actually hit it well, still missed too many putts. Hoping that makes the cut, hard to tell this early. Playing too many rounds in one sitting usually doesn't work out well, and I did it anyway. Round 3 was the story of lipped or edged putts, and bad swings. Only managed a -6. Took a proper break, ate dinner, watched a little golf, and played round 4 at -10. Not going to win anything, just hoping to survive and advance.😎

True, but that's when there were 120 plus players. I feel really good about making it with-27, but only 30 make it, and the field is much stronger. Thanks for the smart ass comment though😎

Gotta love these birdie fest courses and being +1 after 9 holes. Got it back to -3 after 18. Been a while since I've had that many slow downswings and I had 3 or 4 hover putts too. Guess I'll torture myself and finish the 2nd round later in the week and try to get to double digits under or over par depending on what the game throws at me. Only 14 behind the PS4 R1 leader at time of playing

With 80 players playing, -23 -24 to make a 30 cut seems about right. Cuts of 70 in a normal tournament could be -18 or so but not with only a cut of 30. I could even see a few tiebreakers missing out if Doyley decides to be cruel.
If so I hope he does normal tiebreaker rules we've been going with all season and not something silly like higher WGR gets the nod, tho that would be a very old nod to how tiebreakers used to be sorted out.
I wish it would have been 30 spots + the top 10 not including the top 10 already there. Course it is odd again because the top 30 is prior to the end of the tournament just after the cut, but the top 10 WGR is decided AFTER the tournament is over, so #11 could technically squeak in if he beat out the #10 spot by enough with the 4x points and both missed the cut. Soooo I guess there is some point for the top 10 to actually play.
