One small update to this course: an adventure golf version has just been published, called Doubtful Adventure Mania. In short, everything on the plot is the same (except for a few trees here and there), but the hole layouts are quite different, with many playing across several of the original holes. Here are some notes:
Hole 1: The only change to this hole is that you tee off from the practice chipping green. Jump straight from the range to the course!
Hole 6: I was able to use the alternate tee I had placed on this hole. (Honestly, that was a primary reason I decided to publish this course.)
Hole 8: You might be able to reach the green in two if you cut the corner off the tee. The second half of the hole plays up the original 14th hole corridor.
Hole 10: Pin 2 on this hole can be absolutely brutal. I highly recommend leaving yourself 90 or more yards for your second shot so that you can hit a full wedge approach.
Hole 13: I imagine this 227-yard par 4 will be the most divisive hole on the course. I've thought about making a drivable par 4 where going over the green is the best play, but this hole takes that idea to the extreme. Should be an easy birdie if you play long, but short of the green is almost assured disaster.
Hole 16: Three options greet you off this tee. One is rather difficult to execute, but you'll have the easiest second shot from there.
Hole 18: This hole is quite similar to the original 9th, except the pin is placed on the putting green! Pin 2, placed just over the ridge that separates the putting green from the 9th green, is particularly difficult to get close to.
If you enjoyed the original course and are looking for a fun diversion, I think you'll enjoy this course a lot. Thanks and good luck to anyone who tees it up!
