I wonder. What if you boiled the corn like normal then wrap it in bacon and fry it?? Corn is cheap... may try that experiment out! 😊

Oh yea. I’ve tried that. A little tricker then it seems. Plus eating it the bacon comes off and you are forced to eat then separately....not that that is a bad thing

I can't stand corn unless it's on the cob. To me, they are totally different flavors and textures.
That's probably weird.

Saw the recipes earlier in this thread and i can do without them. Personally if I'm grilling or smoking something i'll throw them on the grill husk on. If it's a quick meal like burgers or dogs, 6 minutes for 2 ears in the microwave and they're perfect every time.

There is a very easy way to have corn on the cob with zero silk if anybody wants to know.

It’s just corn. Pretty basic stuff. Now!! How do you guys do your prime rib roasts?? Me? I will sear it first at 500f for 20 min, then drop that temp to 180f and let it go for 5 hrs. This is for rib roast with 3 bones. It’s perfect every time. From end to end and most importantly the middle. Nice light reddish pink throughout!
For my rub I use coarse salt, pepper, mustard and MAPLE Syrup!! Pour a good quality beer in the pan as well.

Wife loves corn on the cob. I like it but not my favorite. Definitely agree it's better on the cob then anyway else. Always loved peas for whatever reason. They have these steam bags you can buy which are certainly better then the cans we grew up with.
I'm big into grilling chicken. Grew up with parents never home so I started making my own food lol. Been grilling chicken for years. Anyone that likes a hot BBQ sauce try Famous Dave's Devil Spit. Really good if you like spicy but not crazy hot. I actually use it on burgers as well.
I grill year round snow, rain whatever .
