If I didn't know what you guys were talking about I wouldn't know what you guys were talking about.

Sigh. Absolute garbage. Round one striking the ball very well. Put the ball pretty much where I wanted, my only gripe was 3 or 4 putts that just lipped out. Been a while since I had so many putts just literally die at the hole and roll just along the entire face in a single round. Still, that considering it was a good round except for the two super odd tempo shots. One a very fast on the second par five that I probably over cooked trying to get some distance which led to a bogey, so basically a net loss of 2 or 3 stroke on that hole alone, and an "i don't know what happened" very slow backswing that led to another bogey. -7 that really should have been easily -10 or better. Second nine I stuck with it until another very slow swing led to a double bogey. Just bafflement and sped golfed from there on cause I knew it was a missed cut. Ah well at least got this one out of the way early. Can't wait for the new season to start so I can go back and play with the normal golfers again.

With my complaining about HB I forgot to mention this was a great difficult but fair course with a good playing setup. Bravo!

Just completed a survey where I suggested a "strike" system for people with scores pulled by the API. Get 2 or 3 strikes and you get a 2-3 week timeout to figure out your swing. Get another API pull, it is now 3-4 weeks. You can remove a strike by a month of clean play and no API DQs.
I know it would be a bit of work for the admin but honestly I think something has to be done. Anyone can have a score or two pulled through a hiccup in the system or just a couple rounds that they play with an above average swing. It happens. But those people would easily be able to clear their strikes. This is more about the people who are failing and doing very little if anything to try and correct the issue. I'm sorry but after 2 fails, playing normal and hoping that the API doesn't ding you this time, isn't proactively trying to solve the issue. I have had to completely relearn swings on multiple occasions. It sux but it is completely doable.
In the end I think we need to put the responsibility of passing the API on the player and no longer accept someone that passes 2 of 3 or even 3 of 4 weeks. Doing so tells me that their swing is just too close to the line.

Just thinking out loud here.

If we knew what other people are doing and coupled with how they carry themselves on the forums, we can make our own judgment. It's a marginal issue across the player base, so lets all keep perspective. and maybe avoid the shouty caps lock button flyingj75 ...

I think this forum needs its own full-time "Ninja". If it ain't about the golf, the scores, the course, or b%&ing about HB it shall be removed.

Been asking for transparency, sometimes if you don't shout you can't be heard.
