This is my Dream Team competition entry for Team Trayys. Maybe this will kick mattf27 into gear too to release his sandbox. I got the name from searching neighborhoods in the Melbourne Sandbelt and finding one I liked. Then I added Royal in front because the course is heavily inspired by courses like Royal Melbourne and Peninsula Kingswood. It's a par 72, 7200+ yards from the tips, and there's pro and beginner tees too, but I also put in a 5400 set of tees for chadgolf and the simulator kids to play on too. I tamed the greens down quite a bit and as long as you get your approach close, you'll score very well, but if you're off target, you won't leave yourself any easy birdie opportunities.

This thread needs a bump, so I'll just update it with some WIP photos. I’ll take whatever I can get. Is this how ryanmcconnell feels when he releases a course?

Pictures look beautiful gamesdecent - look forward to giving it a spin. Think your signature needs an update as well. Nice to see Fritsch steal/pay homage to your Rocky Top textures as well. Didn't quite get the memo about the bunkers though...

I loved it.
There's so much usable space in the fairway but you have to try to work out which part it works best in relation to the pin position.
Also, an eagle on the 1st and 18th always leaves a good taste in the mouth!

This is a great open course, plenty of space to land on the fairway but you'll have to be careful as it can leave you with a difficult approach shot. I like the inner city feel it has to it, well done Mr Petty.

Yepp. Brian, ya killed it for our Team, no surprise. Almost has a Cypress Dunes vibe the way it all looks open off the tee(not as tough though thank god). Gave the player multiple options to rip it on almost every hole, but at the same time it's key to check where the pin is located on that day to be in the correct spots to attack on the approach. A thinkers course throughout was a joy to play. The city around the track gives the course its own feel to it, just a great job man!! Thanks for all the help/involvement in the Team discord, and getting the trash talk started. You've had Team Sindre on their heals from the start back in April and didn't disappoint!

At first I wasn't sure this was a Petty course with the greens being so reasonable. Congrats on another great course man. Even if you did make me play it twice on stream, I enjoyed it.

Nice course Brian, i don’t know about the greens being tame or maybe that’s because I can’t putt for toffee... nice job.

(Tour) version is now published. Greens are wilder, overall everything is a little more fun.

goto to say you done it again this was great course enjoyed my round. Was out like freight train till hit the wall but finished well. Loved the links style will admit 14th hit the tee to the 15th teebox. I played the tour version mind but great work.
