All the tours, cept the PGA has something for making the final round. I think those 15 or 30 players (used to be 30) should get auto card next season and free reign into all majors and WGC events for the next year. Idk about the "free reign" thing. But the auto card is a damn good idea. |

I made the top 70 and into next week’s Euro event. Is there a cut to top 30 after the two rounds? If there is a cut, (to top 30) isn’t this just making this a 36 hole tournament?

Im assuming the money list rank is based off of the menu path "Pro tours>PGA/EURO/WEB>Money list" rather than the user profile money list rank?

Is there a cut line at 30 after 2 rounds this week to make it to the next round or is it too 30 overall for the tournament?

August 12th (remaining eligible registered)
Make cut (Top 30+ ties) or be top 10 on FedEx list (PGA) or money list (European, Web) after event finalized to move on to August 19th event

Lol. Still have no idea if there is a cut after 36 holes. It reads that you must be in the top 30 plus ties “ after event is finalized”. A lot more exciting having everyone play all 4 rounds in these last two small field events.

The "after event finalized" bit refers to the money list/FedEx points list.
There is a cut (Top 30). Those in the Top 30 play the finale. Those inside the Top 10 on the money list who don't make the cut also play the finale.

Clear as mud. From the PGA tour website, “While the Northern Trust has a 36-hole cut for the top 70 and ties in the field, the BMW Championship and Tour Championship do not have cuts”. Aren’t we mimicking the tour format? If not, the last two rounds are meaningless. |
