Anyway, I was a bit curious on why the lidar version wasn't chosen, but I guess I know why after taking a peak at that.
Not having played the Lidar version - whats the issues with it?
Too few trees, density of forests. It is very open, which is not in line with pictures of the course. A general lack in detailed planting imho - it just don't look polished, and too open. (You find trees planted on the cartpath). I don't think countryside is the right theme for this course. I would have prefered rustic (though the boreal look is just fine).

Blown putts in round 1 for a -4. Second round same deal in front 9, but putter really started coming through on back 9..Was sitting at -7 on 18, but was absolutely horrified at the thought of going in the water on 18 and completely ruining the round. Tried playing safe, and ended up bogeying anyway lol. Oh well. -10 after 2 rounds.

Round 2 at Congressional complete. A couple more birdies than bogeys this time. Finished the round at -2 and -3 for the tournament.

I like this course!
The best round I've had without aids ever. -6. One bogey at the 2nd, 7 birdies. Played with Art for a fantastic round.

Struggled with tempo and ball striking a bit this week. Of course I also doubled and tripled the 10th which also didn't help.
-2 -2 -2 E
-6 for the event
Loved the challenge, but Congressional left me shaking my head walking off the 72nd hole.

Round 1 is in the books. Played fairly well, but missed far too many putts. I really like this version of Congressional, and am looking forward to making up ground in the next 3 rounds. -2 First Round. Sounds like a carbon copy of my round 1. -4 after nine, -2 to finish. Putting was my weak spot.

Round 3 at Congressional was a crazy round. I started out Birdie, Birdie on holes #1 and #2. Parred the rest of the front 9 except for Birdie on #8. Then on #11 I had a splash down so impressive NASA would have approved. Ended with a double bogey on #11. Then I stepped up to the Tee Box on #13 and drained a hole in one. I had a bogey on #15 and parred the rest from there. I ended the round at -2 and -5 for the tournament.

I spent all of round 4 scrambling for pars and trying to get back to Even par for the round. One bogey on the front 9. A double bogey and bogey on the back nine along with birdies on #11, #12, #16 and #18 got me to Even par for the round. I finished the tournament at -5.

Round 3 hit a few nice putts. Aquaphobia led to some very conservative approaches on a few holes, but probably for the best. Bogey free -6 to sit at -16 after 3 rounds, with everything perfectly set up for the choke in round 4.

Putting was my weak spot. Count me in the 4 under after 9 club after 4 straight birdies starting on hole 6 but I managed to give them all back in the next 5 holes. Inches away from a great approach on ten but just caught the upslope on the front of the green to bounce back into the drink. Biggest frustration was the missed 7 footer for birdie on 18 after a great 7 iron approach on a tough hole.Much tougher back 9 than the front. Great course and a huge thanks to LKeet6 for his great course schedule and contribution to this society.

Would be great to see some replays especially on USE where those great shots are extra special and a bit more difficult to pull off, Let's see some great approach shots, putts, ups and downs and especially aces!!!!

Indeed a good schedule and course selection. It will be interesting to see if LKeet6 wants to take us to Norway in some Euro event - there are plenty to choose from

Do you want to pick a course and conditions for week 24 Anders?
