Really great course that requires real course management off the tee which is rare on this game. I enjoyed every minute of the 4 rounds I played on Harbour Town GL and it is such a great fit for USE, finished E for the tournament played some great stuff with 3 great big breaking birdie putts in a row in round 3 but some poor missed judge putts also.Had to rush 3 rounds in tonight which didn't help. Hopefully work will slow down a bit and we can get USE running smoothly again.

So I'm first and leading the toooonamint!
Fabulous course, never played it IRL when I lived in the Beltway but I feel this rendition did it right.
4 Chirpies, 4 Humphreys and a double Humph. +2 feels about right.
Onward!

Think I was -5 after the front 9 in RD 1. Ended up -4. I think I then went +3, +1, +2 (or +3?). If I hear the words "So" and "Close" together in a sentence again, I'll throw something. Lots of good putts went.....well, you know what.... Good luck all. Debuted on KF this week by the way.....-32. What a difference a few settings make.
Cheers

Fresh off my promotion to CC-B. Opening round at Congressional. Another beautiful but tough track. Finished R1 at (-1).

Was cruising along at -2 after 9 in R1 - looked at the PC leaderboard and saw Tuffguts flying along three ahead of me......needed to pull my finger out, and made a little birdie run for -6. Steady -3 in R2. Opened R3 by holing a lob wedge from the deep rough to the front left pin!!! Added a long putt at the 3rd and a couple of other quick birdies to turn in -5......and then parred home! Another solid -3 in R4, for a total of -17.......might be a decent target for gavlaar124 this week, as Congressional is never easy to go low round.....

Watching playoff baseball while plaing round 2 of USE and my card reminds me of a hot dog at the ballpark - lots of ketchup and mustard.
7 chirpies, 5 Humphreys and 1 double Humph. Level for the round, +2 halfway thru the event. I am drained.
Onward!

The 10th and the 18th can go to a dark place where no one can find them ever again.. Ehm. Right. (And how I whish that HB could fix the damn drop rules to be correct).
Anyway, I was a bit curious on why the lidar version wasn't chosen, but I guess I know why after taking a peak at that.

Round 1 is in the books. Played fairly well, but missed far too many putts. I really like this version of Congressional, and am looking forward to making up ground in the next 3 rounds.
-2 First Round.
