Your target, should you choose to accept it, is a medium -21 for R3 & R4
Complete and utter dog toss... E, -6!!! Looks like the Haku to the eye for me!

Anyway, I'll be at Portrush for the Open (just down the road from me). Its around 200 bloody quid to play that course and nothing but rough and bunkers, nightmare! If anyone has any requests for what I should shout when the boy Eldrich is on his backswing let me know. Should add to the entertainment value. Shout "TGCTOURS"

Well I gave this a go last night despite my whining about not being able to score of this course.
Still somewhat true but did better than I feared.
First round I was relaxed and swinging well already expecting to be out of cut line before I even began. I think I was -6 after the first 9. Then started getting in my own head a bit. Limped home in that round to a -8. Still wasn’t hating life with that score. VF,VF,VF greens were not easy.
2nd round seemed much easier without the super touchy greens. I wouldn’t say I played great, because I left at least 2 birdies out there on putts under 12ft. Shot -12.
Looking at the board I believe -20 will be safe.
Stupidly, and just like last week I trudged onto round 3. Shouldn’t have though. A couple of ugly bounces and a 4 pack of fast swings in the early going had be raging. I don’t remember exactly but I think I was -2 after 8. So I played the rest of the round tense and missed one birdie opportunity on a 7ft sideline putt and another on a 10ft reasonably straight putt where I apparently had a palsy moment on the putt swing that looked a bit like half a number 8 to the left to the zone. Anyway managed -9 for the round.
Decided to stop there for the day sitting -29 after 3. Goal is -40 or better. But I’m thinking -36 is probable.
Some of you guys are really kicking arse on this one. Kudos. Did not play with a ghost. I never do. I remember back in the days playing with Brad Garcia’s ghost in RRCC. This was back when I was in CC (season 2). I remember the ghost kicking my butt intensified rage play when things didn’t go well. I don’t want to buy a new controller this week.
Good luck all.

-19 after 2, 13 of which came from the 2nd round. That first round was probably the worst I've played in a long time. I'm not playing the game as much anymore and it shows, I really think I'm losing my "feel" for the game, which is catastrophic for me since that's how I've always played. Flat out, I don't deserve to make the cut, but I guess we'll see?

I think my golfing days are coming to a slow end. Still really like the game but I don't have the time to put into the game to be anywhere near competitive, let alone make a cut. If I got the tempo right, my distance was a foot short and I was off the green. If I got the distance right the tempo pulled it and I was off the green, and if by some miracle I got both right, I still had to putt. Reads were good but I ended up short on many putts or barely missed and because I hit it too hard I was back off the green. I think in the first round I was within 8 feet once for a birdie, even with the par 5s. In round two I managed 3 within 8 feet. I did make a few good and lengthy putts, especially on the back nine in round 2 but it was way too little, way too late.
Nothing wrong with the course, I've just lost the feel of the game cause I get to play one round every few days and that just isn't enough to keep the touch you need to play well. I see myself either just barely playing well enough to avoid a strike but not enough to make cuts for probably 80-90% of the remaining tours. Hopefully after we get our new business going, I'll get to have more time. I really do hope HB gets their heads out of their arse and come up with a fun game that is more fair across all platforms. Hell it doesn't even have to be a great game but just fair. At least in some of the earlier versions there were bugs but we all had to deal with them.
Gl all.

Very poor tournament for me -37 As good as I swung it last week was as poor as I did this week. Suffered from some dodgy tempo issues at times, an inexplicable very fast, followed by a very slow on the same hole, with swings that felt identical. Not that I can blame tempo for my poor showing; the dodgy swing and course management was to blame, but it didn't help. I might miss the cut anyway, shooting -6 in round one wasn't the way to kick things off: after that I didn't give up, but I played the rest of the rounds fairly apathetically. I had a few swings like this one, literally no chance of competing when the swing gets this bad: although this one went straight down the middle for some reason

I have a controller that I stopped using for TGC. It’s a Sony DS4. Red one. With that one I have a lot of swings similar to yours without the knot in it. More like a backwards 3. And I know what the issue is. The right thumb stick assembly is not straight in the controller. In other words to get a reasonably straight use line in the cone I have to pull back to about 5pm or 5:30 and swing to 11 or 11:30. And that’s not natural. So when I swing regularly the swing the forward swing starts at just left of the cone and does this double bow thing ending just left of the cone at the top of the swing. So if that’s a newer controller take a look. On mine the little seam in the round base of the stick that sits inside the hole is crooked. Not straight up and down. Which makes me think the assembly inside was installed at a slight angle. It should look like ( I ). Not ( \ ). We are talking about controllers folks. Those are not illustrations of the forbidden C.

-43 for me. Well pleased with that- four solid rounds wth no dramas. Wasn't swinging great, but managed to stay patient for 4 rounds- that always helps. Really enjoyed the course.. left a few putts out there, but who didn't?

Funny you should say that...I saw that myself on an older one and thought the same thing. Sadly maybe that crooked one would straighten me out if I still had it. I can’t even putt straight the last two weeks!

Really enjoyed the course.. left a few putts out there, but who didn't? I’m glad I’m not suffering alone, over the first two rounds I missed three putts inside 5 feet, and 5-6 putts inside 10 feet. Not even difficult reads either, must be something about these greens...subtle breaks not being picked up by the grids. I know it’s definitely not my fault /s
