Recently I was approached by SindreRev and asked if I would ever consider hosting a tournament in Norway. Interesting idea, I replied and asked why should I bring the web to Norway. My God, did he go on, Blah blah blah scenic, blah blah blah, challenging course, blah blah blah, unique. I had to stop them before I died of boredom. I still can’t believe after all this time, people think courses get on tour because of the course or that I give a shite about what the webbers play. Wine, women and cold hard cash is why a course gets on tour. After a bit of explaining and persuasion, Sindre understood. Guess what guys, we are of to Norway. What can I say about Norway that you don’t already know. We all have the famous Norwegian furniture, conveniently flat packed for easy transportation in our homes. Oh, wait, that’s IKEA from Sweden. As kids we all were told the fantastical stories from the imagination of Hans Christian Anderson such as The Little Mermaid, and he is from Denmark isn’t he, . Hmmm, a dream for all kids, young and old is to visit Santa Claus is in his own home, and around Christmas time, this is possible with trips to Lapland in Finland, God dammit. I got it, fjords, Norway is famous for its fjords. There Henry Fjord who created the first mass produced ice jet ski. Harrison Fjord, star of the movie The Emperor Penguin Strikes Back. And who can forget Francis Fjord Coppola, director of the famous Codfather movies. Thank God for the Fjords, how embarrassing would it be if I sent you all off to Norway and not being able to think of a single famous thing to say about it. So enjoy your visit to Norway, good luck and have fun.

First round...-9. Minimal problems, few hiccups with tempo, but albeit couldn't complain. Honestly could had another shot or two drop off a cliff.
Second round...birdied first hole, tripled 2nd hole, then birdie 5 of the next 7 so we are still in a nice position given the error and conditions. Back 9 the tempo whore stopped in...double bogey, birdie, bogey, birdie, triple bogey, birdie, and 3 pars.
-18 for -9 is a kick in the balls and likely another looming strike should be eminent when i should of been nowhere near it. Sit and wait time.

First off...what a great course this is a lot of fun so far. Have struggled with tempo more than usual but shot -8 for round 1 with a very meh front nine 9 and a much better back 9. Round 2 was the complete opposite as I continued my hot streak with an eagle at 11 to -8 through 11...then tempo got me again as I struggled to a -7 finish so -15 at the cut should be safe. I’ve really missed some golden opportunities to really go low...should have had several eagles but the putter let me down. Really close to actually contending for this thing but alas I am middle of the pack. Onto the weekend rounds

Finished up -10 and -14 for a -39 total.
Felt very dialed in the last 2 rounds but still missed 2 birdie putts under 10 feet...though i did hit a 37 foot putt for birdie and when i tried going for the green on #11 in 2 into the wind i pulled it a bit and it looked like water but got a very fortunate bounce off the rocks and rolled to 12 feet and i got the eagle so all in all it kind of evened out. Won't win but maybe squeak into the top 10-15

Mixed feelings after round 1. Swung good all round, only scored at the back 9. -2 for the front 9 combined to - 6 ( with a bogey) for the back 9. Middle of the pack at the moment. Nice course again, greens seem easier than last tournaments which should be better for me. Good luck all time for round 2 now.

Wow. Really tough winds in round 2. Hit a mix of great shots which I surprised myself with and poor shots with headwind ending up way short. Made 10 birdies in total which was great.
Also almost holed out on hole 6:
Unfortunately also a double (ball plugged in bunker after drive, bad approach and some putts) and a bogey on the last hole to get -7. -15 should be good but I'll wait with rounds 3 and 4.

Coming off a great 1st tournament with hopes of repeating and I think I’ll be lucky to make the cut this time lol.
I had the most inconsistent front 9 I can remember having. Every bird was matched with a bogey. Was sitting E after 9 and ready to pack my bags for the week and hit a groove with a -7 on the back 9 to finish -7 thru 18.

Hey guys I asked Hmammoth if I could post a quick note in here and after forking over $200 (he asked for singles only for some reason?) he agreed to let me. I run the Heaven and Hell society and I’ve got a few opening coming up for the rest of the season. It’s 2 rounds a week is all and it’s great fun. If you’re interest at all I could definitely use a few players. Sign up here if you’re interested tgctours.proboards.com/thread/17214/heaven-tournament-season-3

Looks like I'm not alone in shooting a disappointing round 2. Was -5 with 6 holes left. Double-Bogied 2 of the next three... Managed two more birdies to card a -3. -12 for the tourney through 2. Gonna be close to the cut line.

Hi all. I'm new here and TGC. Just finished my 4 rounds with total score of around -40. I hope I can make Top25 this time. It has been a lot of fun playing on this course. Welcome to tgctours and the web. 40 under is a very good score, should easily be top 25 and I am guessing possibly top 10.

Missed cut for me. Was going well until I drove it OB (like one yard off the fairway?!) twice on the par 5 16th in round two to get a 9. Bit of a silly course to me but I guess that’s because it tripped me up a few times.
Onto next week...

Looked like an easy cut so u played rd 3 and it was a so-so round. 3 bogeys is just too much. Too many shots pulled right im afraid. Finished at - 7 and - 22 after 3 right now...

Last round a really solid - 11. Good drives, good approaches, good swing. No bogeys. Really enjoyed it out there. Only thing that could have been better was the par 5s where I only scored - 1 overall but I'll take it. So that makes - 33. My guess is somewhere around 20th. Would be happy with that after the mediocre last couple of tournaments.
