Just finished my first round here
Creatively stunning, unbelievable sight lines, a masterclass in how its done on all fronts
I couldn't begin to think how to make a course and its textures look like this and then to top it off with subtle yet great sculpting, angles, bunker work etc just blew me away
The planting, its hard to make a bunch of pines look good together in this game, but the under/over growth and strategic placing of "stuff" to allow the light to pass through to give off amazing shadows that accentuate the course aint easy to do....Perfection on that front in my opinion
I saw the distance from the tips and thought, Im gonna tear this course a new one.... -2 overall.... LOL thats how you create a course that aint 8000 yards but still tough in certain situations
Well done Jeremy, best of luck buddy in the contest...
I don't envy these judges, some amazing stuff being published

Thanks for all the kind words, guys!
The goal was to make a course that was more than just pretty to look at, but one that engaged the golfer from first tee to last green. Ultimately, you guys are the judge of that!

Played again on a different pinset and it was a totally different round. I keep discovering new holes I love - this time was the 7th, which had me thinking all the time and smiling on my way to a double bogey even after what I thought was a perfect approach. Have to say, playing 8 on a different pin just showed me how clever that hole is. Not quite sure just how you've managed to make every single putt on the course break so much, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. I also realised just how well you have used empty space here. Lots to learn from...
Oh yes, pin 2 on 13 is also brutal. Note to self, never shoot at that flag. Ever.

Simply outstanding Jeremy (as if I expected anything less).
I especially liked the look the bunkers had, very cool look with the textures. Strategy is good as always. Sure you can aim driver down the middle of the fairway every time, but should you? It's something I've always liked about your courses and this one is no exception.
Great work and good luck in the comp - I expect this will be right up there come time for the results.

Outstanding natural, rustic rugged course. I loved my round Just had a chance to watch through the playthrough and enjoyed it. You got exactly what I was trying to accomplish with this course ... and I do take it as high praise that you think the course could be mistaken for an RCR, as realistic-fictional is they style of course I enjoy making. Nice shooting too, -7 around there is not bad at all. There are plenty of birdie chances to be had if you execute but, as you saw, par can become a struggle if you get out of position. Thanks again for the playthrough & the kind words!

Lovely course. Such subtle difficulty. Shot -4 first time through and was scratching my head. Really took my time on the second go and managed -6. Bah.
Man, what you've done with 171 greens that at first glance don't appear to be very contoured is amazing. Every putt has break and you better hit your mark on the short irons or you'll roll down a hill that you didn't notice.
The waste bunkers (or dune bunkers, not sure what they're called) really made me smile. I don't remember another course with sand like that.
The course felt a lot longer than 6700 yards for some reason. Maybe because the back side is 3650 yards. Or perhaps because I had to scramble more than expected.

Well done Jeremy. Once again one of the top designers in this community has delivered. This will surely be in contention come crunch time in this comp.

Jeremy, thank you. This course is astonishing and exactly what this game needs more of. I’ve only played it one time at this point but it might be one of the best courses I’ve ever played in this game. The textures are so unique, the bunkers are works of art, and most importantly the hole designs are thought provoking. I really hope people can use this as inspiration to think and work outside of the box and create new and exciting designs different than what we’re used to seeing. Utilizing different texture combinations and creating unique bunker and green complexes can get us away from the overused parkland, green, and clean courses that can feel repetitive. Hopefully this showcases how you can push the designer tools to the limit to create more stimulating and one of a kind designs that will push the game to the next level. Once again, wonderful effort here and I wouldn’t be shocked if you pick up another victory with this project. Congrats and thanks again.
