reebdoog, thanks for the playthrough. I have noted some of your comments. One thing I know I need to work on are the sightlines. As I go into a design, I think I try to use the terrain as is rather than macro sculpting for a better look. Just something I need to get better at. I enjoyed the competition, though I think I'd be better suited to work on a design without the deadlines. Anyway, thanks again. It was good feedback. BTW, my forum name, 'Freebird' works, the z's are silent. Had a good laugh at that one while watching!

Jeff, I just finished playing your course. I really enjoyed it with it's unique design. I was playing well until the par 5 #16. I tried to go for the green in two and ended up in the abyss lol. I had a triple on that hole.

I had a triple on that hole. Glad you liked it Wade. That 16th, if you're in the fairway, topside or below, should be ok in 2 depending on the wind, but if you hit into the rough it's a 3 shot in..

I enjoyed my round here. Definitely a little too easy as I was -19 from tips. But it's built for CC, so all good.
You definitely pulled off some different looks. Rugged looks that I had never seen before which I really liked. I also liked your tee boxes.
Good mix of elevation changes and blind shots through-out.
Nice job sir!

I figured the PGA guys, such as yourself, would tear it up! I was considering adding a 4th tee set for the elite players, but ultimately didn't have the time. Only my 2nd official publish, I still have a lot to learn, but enjoyed the competition nonetheless.

Hi Jeff As a fellow competitors in this contest I thought I would stream a round on your course with pro clubs as many players on the CC tours will use them. I also enjoy watching others play my course and I hope you do the same. I enjoyed your course as you'll see with some decent scoring and the luckiest hole in 1 you will ever see

Some really awesome courses from what I've seen, stiff competition, will likely deter me from future contests as the veterans seem to get all the play, and rightly so...

Great track! I really enjoyed the elevation change. I didn't find it to be that easy -- it was fairly easy off the tee, but approach shots required some thought and skill. Best of luck with the contest. If you get a chance to play my design Colonial Pines, I'd appreciate the feedback from a fellow designed.

mutigers11played your course today.. It was a nice track, but it chewed me up to the tune of +11 as it was the first course I played following a 2 week break. I thought it was planted well and the routing was really good. It reminded me of a few local courses in my neck of the Woods. Good job!

FWIW, I published a V2.0 of this course based on some of the feedback I had recieved.

Don't know if this coincides with my RDC submission, but my original publish of Stony Point GC had boost in plays and is only a couple away from getting HC'd...the re-pub (V2.0) was also picked up in the CUCC XB society so that'll get a boost as well.
If you haven't played and would like a nice casual round with plenty of scoring ops, give it a look. V2.0 incorporates some of the feedback suggestions I had received, so it is slightly better, but the original still plays fun as well.
Was designed for the CC tours..

I will be porting this course to 2K21 - just giving it a fresh coat of paint and a new name to go along with my Mulligan series courses. Overall the same bones as the original - but cleaned up to include some of the things I've learned since first doing this course. I will post again here once I'm finished.
