Wouldn't say it's a particular strength of mine, but you can nick some ideas from Kaiuma, Marlette and Hollingbourne. Each of those was a case of lining roofs up, mucking around with buildings until I found something I liked and then decorating areas outside with some planting etc. I think my favourite clubhouse in game is the one at Helmsley though - Eric did a great job there.

Yes, there will definitely be some 'clubhouse shopping' to gather ideas. Think I may have just landed on a good one though.
Also, do parking lots (car parks for UKers) have to be pan flat in this game? i.e. can you make them on a little bit of a slope?

You could always make your own sloped car park using the surfaces.

Here's my clubhouse at Golf Club Passeier, I sunk down one of the city buildings for the base of it. Then placed the wooden clubhouse on top of it and another one jutting off at the side but at a lower level. I used bridges to create the sloping ramps and opted for a surface car park, then added walls, fences and plants to dress it up.

Yeah that's just awesome. Not expecting to have anything that nice Left the clubhouse aside for now. I'm still feeling a bit burned out so the work pace has slowed quite a bit, but I'm experimenting a bit and trying to work on some different techniques. Mainly working on redoing hole 12 bit by bit now, and so far quite happy with the results. Looking too golden-agey for the style of the course and imho that has nothing to do with the fact that TannerBronson was helping me address some hole 'problems' (although the longer fairway bunker was his idea, it works well). Original inspiration was from WCoD courses (the green is a hint) and that long bunker looks more 'Raynor' from a distance than it actually is, but it's good learning for later courses. It was also the first hole I built almost entirely backwards, doing everything but the last layer of green complex detail sculpting first, then right bunker, then fairway.
It's tough to get this level of hole quality at the moment as figuring out exactly how to fix these things doesn't always come naturally to me yet, but enjoying the learning process now.

Ahh I see, did not know that. Health-wise I'm feeling a bit iffy, more anxiety than normal, so until that calms down no big decisions here.
Right now I'm really just aiming to work on understanding how to pick apart and improve a hole better. The skeleton isn't really an issue if that's planned out ahead of time, but things like framing and layering, how and (the hardest part for me) Where to adjust terrain to solve various 'problems,' etc.

Keep up the good work, don't stress about the design. I started Klopps Pocket about the same time you started this, i wasn't happy with it so left it alone for 3 months and then came back with a fresh pair of eyes and more experience, now its nearing completion and i'm much happier with it.
For what its worth - i wouldn't spend too much time on the clubhouse unless you're a PGA Level designer, they take up time and in the case of Klopps Pocket, too much plant meter. If it was part of a design contest then it would be different, but I personally never pay attention to the clubhouses on the courses that i play on the KF tour
