Round 1: A very frustrating -7. Missed two putts from just inside 10 feet and had a sloppy bogey. C'mon man, shoot -10 here.
Round 2: Wind and pin placements seemed tougher. Very happy with a -8. Holed putts from 49 ft, 35 ft, and a bunch of others in the 15-25 foot range. Grazed the edge on a few other bombs as well. Probably my best putting round on tour.
At -15, should make my first back to back cuts on Euro.
Round 3: Decided to proceed as I think I'm good to make the cut. Started hot at -5 through 7. Okay, I'm going to shoot -15 and give myself a shot at a top 10. Nope, I started thinking about results instead of just playing and stumbled to finish the round at -5. Made a bad double bogey along the way. Worst round of the week in the most innocuous conditions.
Round 4: Strong winds, good. I seem to gain back strokes on the field playing in this garbage. Played a decent round but missed too many putts and finished at -6.
Overall, -26 (-7 -8 -5 -6) and hopefully a 48th place finish along with a Happy Gilmore oversized check for $3.50.

I jumped in early this week due to work schedule. Shot -9 round 1 with two bogeys, so pretty pleased with the round. However, round 2 I just couldn't really put a string of good tempo approaches together resulting in a couple more bogeys and a very disappointing -5. That places me at -14 at the cut. I think I will be within a stroke or two on either side of the line. I'll wait to see if I make the cut before proceeding. Good Luck!

After a week with the big boys, and a 5th place at The US Open, reality came crashing back. -12, -5 at the cut. Should make the cut, but would take a miracle to contend.

I had a miserable first two rounds. I had a case of the slow down swings on my approaches throughout, putting me at -10 at the cut. Guess I will see you guys next week

Todd,
Surprised to see you back with us this week after your stellar US Open performance. Pretty sure you were the only person that finished Top 10 in a qualifier and backed it up with Top 10 in the US Open. If that doesn't get you promoted, I don't know what you have to do. You are actually showing with (5) Promotion Marks, so maybe it is a mistake and something that the guys missed. Anyway, congrats on your US Open performance. I too qualified, but didn't do the Euro guys quite as proud with my Top 30 finish.
Got off to a solid start this week, but couldn't keep it going for the weekend rounds and will likely end up outside the Top 10.
-6 -11 -8 -6
-31 Total

Either way, I don't want to leave the Euro Tour, way too much drama in the PGA, and this pace suits me just fine.

Probably due to the way the site is coded when processing promotions.
I can manually promote you later today as you should have been promoted - do you have the time to play the PGA rounds before cut deadline?

Really enjoyed this course, side lies, elevation change and all.
Started -10, -8, including a hole in 1 at the 17th in round 1!
Unfortunately didn't keep it up in round 3, but finished strong enough round 4, going 68/63 to finish -27 overall.
I'm not good enough to compete yet, but happy with my HIO

Some steady rd's -9 -6 Lots of missed putts & missed the 1st 2 par 5's, was surprised when I looked & was -9. -15 at the cut & just played my rounds in 1 lump. -8 -8 Couldn't get that extra 20% & have a challenge. -31 Solid rd's in the US Open Todd & agreed, the PGA seems like a poison pill. Being a Brit hope I can make the Open. Be nice to play here & have a punt at the majors...content.

Still experiencing a lot of ups and downs in euro tour so far. I’m sitting on two demotion marks, hoping to get rid of one this week.
First hole, perfect tee shot. Approach shot to 10 feet....then of course 3 putt after hammering my birdie chance way too hard past the hole. Sensing another terrible round looming, I took a deep breath and thankfully was able to shrug it off...even managed a hole in one on the 6th hole. Went -6, -7 to start the week. Looking like -13 will be right near the cut line....if I make it I managed a -11 and a -7 to close things out, overall an alright event for how poorly I’ve been playing. Just hoping -13 makes the cut and I can drop one of the demo marks.

Started the first round by missing birdie putts from 10 and 12 feet on the first two holes. Left my next two approach shots way short and parred. Birdied 6, then put my second shot on 7 in the bunker and missed a 21 foot birdie. Put my second shot on 8 left of the green and parred again. Birdied 9. Only -3 through 9 holes, which sucks because my swing was actually really good, perfect tempo, right down the middle, but I was miscalculating everything. Missed the green left on 10 then had way too much rollout on the flop and missed the 19 foot par. Birdied 11, then parred the tough 12th and then just barely failed to get up the hill to the pin on my second shot on 13, forcing me to 2-putt from 49 feet. Had a 30 footer on 14 which I missed by inches. Drove the green on 15 and missed the eagle putt from 14 feet, then missed the 7 foot birdie.
After all that I played the last 3 holes perfectly going birdie-birdie-eagle to finish with a -7 63. Honestly, with the way I was striking the ball I should have shot in the 50s.
Second round started the same way as the first, missing an 11 foot birdie on 1 and lipping out a 17 foot birdie on 2. Tried for the intentional fast downswing on 3 but I overcooked it and ended up in the bunker, good flop though and I birdied that one again. Missed a 16 foot birdie on 4, then just missed right on 5 and rolled off the green and ended up parring. Made a dead straight 20 footer from the fringe on 6 for birdie, the first decently long putt I made in the tournament. Followed that up by missing an easy 13 footer on 7. I again just barely missed my target on 8 and rolled down the hill left of the pin, had a decent putt but missed and parred. I again birdied 9, so my first 9 holes in both rounds were identical. Parred 10 though, so that was a different result. Then missed a 10 foot par on 11. Managed to make a tough 14 foot birdie on 12, then missed the fairway on 13 and left a perfectly lined up 34 foot birdie putt a couple feet short. Stuck my tee shot on 14 to 3 feet and 2-putted for birdie on 15 after driving the green again. Missed the green on 16 and had a fast downswing on 17, though, both pars. Lipped out a 15 foot eagle on 18 but birdied to shoot -6, -13 through 2 rounds.
That'll make the cut, but my putting, plus a few approaches that literally missed my spot by a foot or two, killed any chance of a top 10 for me. With the way I was striking the ball I really think I should be a good -20 at least.
