Course played well and all so not criticizing design. But I truly hate these courses that we need protection from a round of 25mph winds and another 15+ and the jockstraps here still can shoot -60. Not criticizing Crawsey either. Those on the top of that leaderboard deserve it and kudos. But for my style of play which is a sh%$ swing and good short game and putter I just rage on these easy tracks protected by hurricane winds.
Made the cut and shot -40. But the last two rounds were a rage fest. So much pressure to make birdie on Every...Single....Hole. I’m not someone who can hit every approach within 12ft on any course.
Can we play more courses like the US Open course? Even if I’m crap on a course like that in a given week, I’ll still have fun...
Ok whine over...see you fine folks next week. Rinse and repeat.

I got lucky rd 3 with 2 long hole out. If I’m not playing society rounds I play skins or something n we always play very high winds. Y I’m able still shoot same as low winds and make decent putts to help

Couldn't agree more. We should be playing the toughest courses in the game. I still feel the problem is not the course selections or settings that given week; it's the hole locations being far too easy on almost every course. The reason the U.S. Open course was a lot tougher was the hole locations/greens. Did it have narrow fairways? Kinda but not really. And the 1st cut of rough was ginormous on most holes. Was it uber long at 7600 yards? Above average for sure but nothing too drastic in terms of length. You can't have a courses only defense be the wind and very firm settings. Too many are going to eat it up. The only defense of any course in this game is where the pin is, how much slope is at/near the pin and how diabolical the greens of a course are.

I finished up with -13 and -11 to total -44. A solid medium player finish.... welcome to the club Brad To counter balance the two posts above - I found the flat-ish greens a nice change of pace. While I agree we face strongish winds a lot to try and make scoring more difficult - most weeks we’re looking at pin positions on slopes and tucked in corners. As someone who fairs better on more difficult courses too - the easier events are not my favourite - but this week in particular, following last weeks Herculean efforts on the greens - I applaud the schedulers for the variety. The course itself looked really nice I thought - beautifully sculpted and those lovely detailed natural looking ponds were stunning 👌 I spent 5mins looking to see if I could find a great crested newt in one of them... Gratz to the “jockstraps” at the top.

Finished at -35. Bleh. Liked the course - nothing wrong with playing different types. My problem was the game. Far too many glitch putts, 90% swings, Slows/fasts and still some atrocious hover putts. Worst event by far from an equipment perspective. For Rd4 I even unpacked the standby brand new birthday pressy ds4. I was hoping to get another couple of months play with the old one but the USB lead keeps coming up disconnected. Couple this with my grumpy nature and the HB bullshit on show not the most enjoyable week ever. ...still probably better than XB though......... DP

If we played courses every week with pins like susq, I don’t think I’d play on this tour lol not EVERY week, pretty please for my sanity’s sake.

I can compete on these flat greens I can’t get really close but I know how to putt. So these courses are my bread and butter now. Keep em coming!
