...says last week's champion who has been flagged before and has no actual round video footage to be found. I wonder how many folks on the PGA tour go to their local club, pay to rent a golf cart, and just drive around 18 holes and write down scores that they want... @!$# playing the actual game and hitting shots and facing consequences, why challenge yourself?!
Thanks for reminding me of my win last week. It felt sweet. I was never anything but congratulatory when you had a win, it's a shame you can't act with a similar decency and sportsmanship toward me.
I'll be happy to make a video of my remaining round in this week's event, showing full swing lines, plenty of swing variation, and my normal scoring if you agree to actually apologize for your complaining and insinuations about my game afterward.
That would imply that I respect how you play the game, and that my friend, is far from the truth. Riding the line of disqualification and top10 every week is just not what I consider good gamesmanship. Just calling a spade a spade. I think my one win this year was quite the feat, seeing as the large majority of people either are flickers or have faced a DQ or two. We're playing two different games. I encourage you to be more transparent, it might help your case - because right now, the facts show otherwise. When you claim your chart is identical to ohhey's (might I call that the middle finger salute), when all your data points are in a span of 5 consecutive columns... your proximity to the hole is going to be significantly less... and who can't make a putt from 10 feet at this level? The biggest problem I have is the clean players on the PGA are forced to play with the exploiters. Euro, Web, CC guys come in and laugh at this thread - I ask those folks to imagine being stuck with a player that has a clear advantage week over week, that seemingly gets flagged once a month, but when stands, makes a top10. I'm sure there are other deviators at the lower level, they just aren't as good as the ones on the PGA level. HB doesn't acknowledge it as a problem or they can't reproduce it. They're out to lunch or fishing for some Salmon, maybe both. The Tour doesn't seem to want to step up punishment, claiming its less than 1%, but we all know who the people being flagged are. So here we sit each week, wondering what to debate, pretending we live in an equal set of rules... yay... but we all know what the truth is...

So after 2 rounds, I'm P1 on the PC leaderboard (technically P3, but the 2 in front of me aren't "tour approved") - sweet, right? Didn't play phenomenal, certainly not well enough to expect to be leading overall or anything, but should be a solid position heading into the weekend...or is it? Oh wait...P23 on the actual leaderboard, a full 7 shots back. Waamp waaaaammmppp Do you know if anyone short swings on pc or is it just a ps4 thing? Honestly...I don't know? I'll get a feedback line that stops just shy of the top every now and then for sure, but what is described in here week-in-and-week-out - in terms of deviation from center in ballflight as a result of very short feedback lines - it's not something I've experienced, I don't believe. My ballflight is pretty consistent in how it varies off line based on the direction of my swing feedback line, even if it stops a bit short of the top (i.e., on the edge of the blue zone plays about the same whether the feedback goes all the way up or stops just before the top). I can't remember a super short feedback line that looked like it was going into left field before disappearing, then the ball just went 2ft offline or something. So to answer your question, guess I can't definitively say it doesn't exist or isn't possible, but the output characteristics that we're talking about here (i.e., crazy on-line ballflight) from a shorter than full downswing feedback line aren't ones that I can confidently say I remember experiencing.
I know, really cleared that one up, didn't I?

Looking I need to shoot a -10 or so to make the cut. Not giving myself a great chance at that, ya never know but the skillset just doesn't seem to be there right now. Mouse users don't have short swings. I do get a lot of long swings with the line bouncing around the top tho, does that count?

After making full swings and hitting the plastic last week and still being pulled, I decided this week to test a theory, I used a flick swing on every shot but intentionally didn’t swing straight, and guess what no api pull, so it’s become obvious to me it doesn’t matter if you flick or full swing, as long as you don’t swing straight you’ll be fine, play well but not too well, swing straight but not too straight . So it’s pointless trying to perfect a straight swing as you will get pulled which is the point of the game, accuracy. No doubt the api police will disagree because if you swing straight you’re automatically a cheat. So off you go fine upstanding citizens of the community tell me how much of a cheating scum bag I am I’m past caring.

Well that went a lot better than I expected. I took the advice of Smootheee who told me once when you are playing like shite in practicing sometimes just go ahead and shoot the round, so I did. I had at least two shots where my shot was well outside the blue cone but because I had hit a slow downswing it landed where I wanted and actually at the right distance, so not only did I miscalculate the distance but hit the shot so terribly, it turned out a tap in birdie. Those plus a lucky chip in for eagle on 9 which spun around the entire cup. It wasn't pretty but the -11 will get me into the weekend. Golf is weird.

Do you think we can start a go fund me for my psychiatric help. -7 round 2. Needed -8 to make the cut. 2 Eagles, 7 birdies 4 bogies, yup 4. 1 of the bogies was on a nice lag eagle putt that stopped a foot and a half away from the cup then started to roll back.. 20 feet and off the green. A fast chip finished me. Never ever complained about pin placement before so this is a first. Flick away boys.

I was considering trying to actually talk to Liam off-line from the forums to explain the way that the API works again... But I just can't... Nope.

Yes, correct, "slight block".
Had I not fully lofted, the blue line would be standard thickness and my swing line would've been pretty much inside the blue line and it would've gone straight where i was aiming. Because i lofted, the line shrunk, and the same swing line now appears to the right of the blue line, ergo the resulting "slight block".
As for trolling, not sure whats up your ass but a simple "nice shot" or even "lucky prick" would've been better received, now you've just come across as a bitter old fart that doesnt like it when someone has a good/fortunate result.
Come on mate bitter old fart? I remember when you where accusing crawsey of being a cheat till you realized he swang like you! Never accused him of being a cheat. Might have intimated it for effect on the odd occasion. Accused him of being classless. But we’ve sorted it and moved on.

Probably just me but if I had 4 api fails in one season I would just stop playing and avoid embarrassment. Whether it’s cheating or “unfair advantage” pretty much the credibility is gone let’s be fair. How about 7??? How about none?
