How do it works? I mean, what is the correct way to putt to have no issues with the api? You have to do a full swing? Best thing to do is not worry about it. Very few people will play legit AND trigger the api. Not saying it cant happen, but if it does go get a lotto ticket because the chances are similar ^ Deletes his account - Goes to buy a Lotto ticket - Will be going loco down in Acapulco in no time... Lucky bastard... ... will likely come back to tell us about it

Back on topic (sorry, I couldn't resist)... Putting metrics checks are welcomed!! Good work lads.
Are these a separate metric to the full swing, or an additive to the equation? Ok to answer that?

It will be a fully separate metric.

Just play the game the way it was intended.

This is in the wrong section but I am new to pro boards. I know this is random but I am a PC player who used to play with a mouse. I just got back into TGC tours after recently buying the new game. Used to be on the tour last year, got to CC-C, averaged around 65 but the mouse swing sucks in this game. I struggle to break 80 now and I feel like all that time I put into TGC 2 is wasted. I switched to a PS4 controller recently and it's a little better but it will never be the same as using a mouse for me. kdotmdot - make sure you adjust the sensitivity in the controller section under settings. I've got my mouse sensitivity set to 100 for my particular mouse. There was a help screen somewhere that talked about how the mouse sensitivity affects the DPI the game calculates for mouse movement. At 50% and at 0% my shots were terrible. At 100, I feel much more confident (again, depends on your mouse and you may have to find the right sensitivity for yours)

Stick with it, you will figure it out

I am currently using the same exact settings with 100 in game sensitivity and it feels way off. Guess I'll mess around with it a bit

I can see it now, I get my long swing sorted after many painful months and withdrawals, then start getting pulled for putting

I switched to a PS4 controller recently and it's a little better but it will never be the same as using a mouse for me. The few people that play with mice have all fidded with the mouse sensitivity. There’s a guy on the PGA tour that should be able to help you make it easier, his username is brightail Got the message, hopefully I can help out. As for mouse users and putting, best advice not to get flagged is keep DPI at 800 or above and keep angle snapping off. Being lower than 800 or having angle snapping on is pretty much a sure way to get your rounds scrutinized or pulled. There are other ways I'm sure but those two points are the big ones for mouse users.
I do hope that the admin to take into consideration that mouse users since TGC 1 can have some very straight putts, especially from short distances, even with DPI at 800+. It is simply the nature of mice, having to move a mouse less than a hafl centimeter in total to make a 2 foot putt makes it very easy to create a straight line. Longer putts shouldn't be an issue.

It's under Mouse Settings->Pointer Options (where you adjust Windows Mouse speed)
