We've added some putting metrics to the Fair Play Policy (FPP). Previously we only monitored full shots via the FPP automatically but after looking over the putting data, it's apparent we need to add putts to the mix as well to keep the tours fair for all. Tim will be tasked with adding this to the official FPP code but in the meantime Jeff and I are going to monitor/police it manually.
I've had an announcement banner up on the site since Sunday so there's been fair notice that this has been in effect for this week. We'll be at the ready to work with those that fail - please come in with the same mindset if you are pulled by the new metrics.

How do it works? I mean,what is the correct way to putt to have no issues with the api? You have to do a full swing?

Very few people will play legit AND trigger the api. Not saying it cant happen, but if it does go get a lotto ticket because the chances are similar |

Light flickers may still run into issues (still just a fraction of them as a whole) but the vast majority of the people on tour are well clear of any concern. |

I'm not at all sure what it means to putt fair. Any clarification would help. I definitely flick forward, but I don't think it's a light flick. I'm shocked there aren't more questions and comments. Thanks to all in advance.

For 99% of the people on TGCT it means no changes/nothing to worry about - in your case you're well clear of being flagged going off your rounds this week - you'll have no issues going forward. |

This is in the wrong section but I am new to pro boards. I know this is random but I am a PC player who used to play with a mouse. I just got back into TGC tours after recently buying the new game. Used to be on the tour last year, got to CC-C, averaged around 65 but the mouse swing sucks in this game. I struggle to break 80 now and I feel like all that time I put into TGC 2 is wasted. I switched to a PS4 controller recently and it's a little better but it will never be the same as using a mouse for me.

What happens with really short putts. I have what looks like the same result (on the shot feedback circle) as the guys who flick when I have a tap in. I’m not sure how I can change that, pulling it back further would make me hit the putt too hard.
I had a heap of tap ins in last weeks TST, would my short putts have passed API?
